7:45 thats where the water from pines discharges. also, none of these spots except the spot out in the middle on the far north end even crack most of the locals top ten spots lol. they are pretty much stacked in 1.5 to 4.5 feet of water right now. hard to not catch 30-40 staying behind the grass
Thanks for the feedbacks. I’ve only fished it a handful of times so I’m sure there lots of good spots. Just sharing what I had luck with. What does the “Pines” mean? Lake o Pines? Just curious.. thanks again for the feedback.
@@SimplisticFishing yah, they pump excess water from lake of the pines to Welsh when they can, especially in the winter and spring. It can be a tricky lake to fish, because you can get tricked into thinking you're in the right spot because you caught 10-15 in December and that would be a miracle most places. But that's a bad day on Welsh if you know the right areas. Try it in the early summer punching when everyone stops coming if you want some real big number days. 75+ isn't unheard of in june
How about a summer fishing video or tips and spots for summer fishing on Welsh.
Great video. Look forward to seeing more lakes
Thank you! Appreciate the support. Cedar Creek is coming in March.
@@SimplisticFishing I’ll be paying attention for sure. That’s one I haven’t gotten to yet.

@@SimplisticFishing they tend to be a tad skinny though. Still fun getting the thump on heavy gear.
Cool. Thnx man. I’ve never been in the summer but I’ll have to try that out.
Where are these local spots?
