Word to those who are not yet wise, if you are invited to be a part of a wedding (Brides maid/Groomsman/MOH/BM) and you insist on bringing your partner (gf/bf/partner/husband/wife) who is NOT part of the wedding, YOU need to make sure they understand that you will likely be very unavailable throughout that day/weekend. Your duties are to the wedding party. If that is something which the SO cannot handle or is continually trying to change their place/status in everything, or as Lana did in this skit (trying to change everything), then YOU have the obligation to leave them at home/make them leave.

She seemed to deliberately scatter her crazy around among everyone so no one person got too much on her to make a case for security removing her: makeup person, MOH, bridesmaid, photographer, boyfriend, former gf and long-time family friend, even the mom. To her, everyone was a threat to her being a "kept woman" by the bride's brother if he was paying for her, her divorce and supporting her 3 children. She had a gold mine in him because he loved her and had a kind heart, and she was terrified that if even one of his family members learned too much about her or saw her behavior for too long, and they found out that he's fully supporting her and someone else's children, they might try to talk some sense into him. Seeing her true colors, probably for the first time at the wedding, he probably left with her to ensure she was truly gone and wouldn't be able to further ruin his sister's wedding/reception; had the family merely had her removed from the venue by her second pouty, pity party infraction, she would have found another way to infiltrate and cause trouble, so by leaving *with* her, he disappointed and hurt his sister and family, but he also ensured his batsh*t crazy, insanely jealous, manipulative gf was away from his sister's special day. The demands and insistence she be treated like a member of the wedding party and have everything she wanted given to her for free was condoned by the bf because he was already footing all her financial responsibilities at home: why would she think otherwise? He gave her an importance and a position reserved for a wife by living with her and her children and fully supporting them and her legal expenses, and then reacted badly when she behaved as a wife. He should have told her to go home with the first issue where she called him away from the groomsmen's room before anything even began, but her interruptions escalated the entire day until he bailed on his own sister's wedding and never lived up to being the groomsman for his sister he promised to be, and in that regard, disrespected her and his new brother-in-law. That the relationship ended and he moved on is a good thing, but it can't replace him in his sister's wedding photos and it can't give him the memories he could have made by being present, involved and accounted for throughout that day. It was a lose-lose for family, sister, brother, brother-in-law.

May have left with her to keep her from acting out even more. Family sad he left, but may have been sadder if she had stayed and continued to act out.

I think you kept the skit very close to the storyline. But I like your ending better with Tess.

Well, this person is definitely less sympathetic than Lana. She knew what was going on and still decided to go. Then she willingly and knowingly put herself in a situation where she knew she’d be alone with strangers. She brought all the unhappiness upon herself. Plus the backstory shows how manipulative she is.
Lana was bad, but was more sympathetic somehow, to me, because everyone has been the partner of the person in the wedding party or that person in the wedding party with the partner they had to leave alone.

How manipulative. I feel for the brother and everyone else who needed to deal with 'Lana'... the ultimate pick me girl.

How sad he left his family for that manipulating narcissistic hobag. I wish he would have removed the blinders long before the wedding.
