NEATLY PUMP AIR
Bro lou freaked me out when he just spawned half way through the song
I love experimental and lo-fi sound of this album.
This song sounds like it comes from the depths of hell.
Moe's drumming is perfect.
The first time I heard this song, it gave me nightmares.
brilliant mix of darkness and humour: always felt unsettled by the melancholic and sinister narrative but it's perfectly subverted with Lou's interjections (the nurse thinks / SWEETLY) and the acapella machinery noise. and pair that with them stellar riffs and viola drone - what a fucking amazing composition.
why all the tracks of the band is masterpieces
I just wanna be in that time and moment litsen to cale and reed singin together this song What a brillian moment
that's a noisy balladry film-script you have their Velvets!
SWEETLY
SCREAMING
One of my favourite songs of all time
A sound for the ages. Never heard before. Never will
In spite of the brilliant career as a solo artist, John Cale would be forever remembered as the one who sang Lady Godiva’s operation and played Waldo Jeffers in the Gift. Maybe, we shouldn’t forget his crazy organ solo for Sister Ray.
Lyrics 😍 are genius. Loved this song for a long time, they absolutely went THERE every single time.
love the fuzz on that guitar.... such a sweet sizzle.
one of undergrounds best relax and listen
