Referee decided the game - absolutely shocking decision.
That was as clean a tackle as you could see for that free-kick.
we needed Mikey Moore in the team to beat city
ITS NOT A FREE KICK!! The ref was done or his very poor!! He’s close to the incident, the ball clearly changes direction after contact, the city forward flips like a ballerina and the ref falls for it!! ( pun intended!) VAR would have disallowed the free kick. Moments earlier, the ref was looking in the wrong direction. Bad way to miss out on a Semi final!!
That said, our player should have squared it for a tap in & 2-0!! Game intelligence, b greedy when we’re 3-0 up!! COYS ☹️☹️☹️

I’d be livid at King for not squaring the ball for a virtual open goal to put the game beyond City. Again the midfield were allowing the opposition to attack without challenge, putting the defence under pressure. Defenders were also far to slow and caught out of position on numerous occasions. Spurs did however shown some fight in trying to win the ball back, but were outplayed by a more intelligent team.

It becomes beyond disappointment when referees make such pathetic decisions to decide the outcome of a cup match. Oddly enough, I felt exactly the same about our first 11 tie againt city in the cup. As much as people get on at the way Vic was weak or we should have defended him. I have gone over the incident lots and it is definitely a foul in the letter of the law on impeding even if you dont call obstruction. Considering it would have gone to a replay, what was the sense in giving the goal when even the VAR experts must have considered its legality or not.
Poor from Spurs keeper for first City goal. As for the award of a free kick for a perfectly timed challenge, what an appalling decision. Even then, don’t let attackers push you around to make space for the free kick taker to shoot through.
