They went downhill when they got sucked up by a fricking conglomerate. I miss Terry, Mai, Danette Daniels (I went to Brown Institute with her in 1990. She was dating one of the musicians from The Suburbs). AND....Wally Walker...my favorite DJ from the "before the sucky conglomerate days" of KQRS. I think the only radio station left in Minneapolis/St. Paul that ISN"T owned by some soul-less company is KMOJ 89.9FM.
@@johnurban7333 Do they still do the 98 percent commercials, 2 percent actual show format? IF the show isn't at LEAST 70 percent show, it's not worth listening to. One simply does NOT need that kind of format for a morning show.
Listened to Tom’s new morning show. Still saying the exact same phrases and tired old stories that he said on kq. Nothing new or exciting. Tried to get thru a show but got bored with same old, same old.
@@johnurban7333 to each their own. Nice having a radio personality that goes after everyone. Unlike the other woke radio stations afraid of offending people. Enjoy listening to Steve Gorman talk about himself everyday
@@skoomalegend1 but he didn’t go after his elite friends. And he talks about himself every day and I’ve heard it already so it’s nice to listen to someone else’s stories that I haven’t heard. Because of my job I could listen to the entire kq morning show and loved it. Then they let Terri go and changed the direction of the show. It got predictable and boring the last few years. Listening to him say Christ and Jesus after everything. When he would reminisce a story I could repeat what he would say before he said it. He has nothing new to add anymore. Just my opinion after 30 years of listening to him.
@@johnurban7333 I agree with Terri. I like Zepp, yet isn't a "lead". Liked Brice as a fellow 30+ year listener. Keep in mind, number one show in America. Only because imo addressing everything. Gave new KQ a chance. Not against Steve, yet him and Zepp talk over each other and Steve is me, I all the time. Tom talks about his kids, wife, grandkids. Everyday life. Not to mention everything going on in this woke state.
KQRS went down hill when they lost Teri.

Agree and also hearing the same tired old stories from Tom Barnard.

@@wolflover968 if you listen to the replay they cut all the songs and commercials out
@@wolflover968I enjoy WDGY. I'm not sure if they're owned by a major corporation or not.
Tommy b. Everything is about money. I heard it every day for years. I changed the stachen. Couldn't take it anymore. Time for a change thank god.
The Q morning show is way stonger now!!! Been listening since '88. Tom is old hat. Tired of his moan. New life excites me. Steve is a great fit.
Tom was a dick. You could tell the other cohost just hated Working with him.

Can’t stand Tom Bernard
Tom is KQ. And Steve knows this. Tuned out when Tom left and enjoy his new show uncensored. To bad MN is so woke and easily triggered by anything
