- This is a recent duel between two strong North American 1v1 players on dm-Malevolence. 51|flux is considered to be among the best Unreal Tournament 1v1 players in 2012. These players are both part of the competitive UT community, which can be found in #tdmpickups on the GlobalGamers IRC network (check my channel for details).
There is a small demo bug, seen in this video, that makes the demo unsynchronized with the in-game timer.
I hate guys like dsknst that whines over weapons people are using. And also the comment in the end of the game "wanna see how well you can do without the fws."
That's a typical sore loser right there, bad sportsmanchip.
what's "fws" ?

Tbf, these 2 players have a history of being 2v2 tdm partners, etc. Still bad sportsmanship but a bit more acceptable seeing theyre soemwhat close.
@@EA_SP0RTCENTER it's all ego at the end of the day, everybody wants to be the best and both those dudes are highly competitive .
I think there are a few factors which influenced the different styles. For one thing, the European players have always had better internet connections, which means that they are used to lower pings and better aiming and fragging abilities. Also, belt wasn't used in 1v1 in America until just a few years ago. So American players got used to the more defensive armor/pads style of play. And players in different places influence each other, of course.
fraps + virtual dub
fraps records the footage, virtual dub is used to convert to .avi and compress.
I love watching crybaby zzzzzz

how do you upload your demos, do you need anything to convert the files so you can upload?
Wow, nice map control and weapon switching! It is such a shame that this game doesn't have strafejumping like Quake2 does...
