Designer was the first teen to be contracted to sing in a Calypso Tent and the year was 1976 the tent was the Professionals Calypso Tent. I think he was the first kid to sing Calypso or should I say do a Calypso recording! Then there was OC and Abbi Blackman in 1978. The was a kid that did "ITAL MAN"... One of Bomber's children is the first Calypsonian off-spring to win a title (Jr.) in T&T. I think Abbi was the first Calypsonian off-spring to win in the adult title (calypso queen) in 1978
