You give your true opinion, Barrie. Many don’t. That’s what makes your videos worth watching (among other things). Great video.
Lovely car and colour and definitely the most comfortable car I had owned
JLR should hold their hands up to the chocolate engines that the ingenium 2.0d is, timing chains needing done at 50k mikes is a joke!
Agree 100% and it’s been a problem with Jag engines for a long time - take the 4.0LTR V8 put into the XK8 as an example where plastic timing chain tensioners would fail and ruin your expensive engine In one revolution. It wasn’t acceptable then and it still isn’t especially when they will not accept responsibility. Turns me off them I have to say.
10:02 - what a dumb part of the video! You just advertised a feature of the car - Sport Mode - then told everyone "if you want to use this feature, don't bother, buy a BMW instead". So stupid. And also ill-informed. You're advertising a car that you don't know the features of. Are you not a car salesman? It's your job to know the features of all of the cars that you sell. It's not hard. Just so a little bit of research. Don't use sport mode? Really? Learn what Sport mode actually does before you tell people to not use it!
Here, let me fix this video for you in edit.... He gave you no info/bad info on the S mode. I have this car, and i researched it before i brought it. S mode has a couple of features. It will hold on to gears for longer, and it won't automatically change gears for you unless you redline. But it will also monitor how you drive and try to match your driving style. It's not perfect, and it will hold on to gears gears for longer than you want in most situations.
Again, not sure why he would hat on S mode. If you don't like it then then just don't use it... It's not mandatory...
you need to learn to listen, also probably best if you concentrate on your own channel i would say
