100 percent man. Just like when he specifies what motor what tranny and clutch etc to go along with this particular budget kit! He thinks what we think which is super dope!
Enjoying each and every video! It’s great to watch how a shop should be run. All the explanations are concise and very informative. Your shop is clean and organized, not like a great number of other shops here on UA-cam. I am getting more interested in 4-6 cylinder motors. Have been a V8 guy most of my 62 years. The only thing I don’t like is the poorly built engines and cars that are just loud and obnoxious just to be loud and obnoxious. A well engineered car and motor that has power might be loud but it is another type of loud, you know what I mean, isn’t loud just to be loud. Keep up the great work that you are doing!

Great info and content. Those proven combos is the truth. Takes the guesswork out of everything. When you see a Humble Performance car with a turbo kit you know they going 10’s or better.
I previously asked if the sidewinder manifold would work in an mr2 spyder. I didn't mention I've done a k20a swap to it. If you already read my previous comment I probably got a wtf! Lol Bless Humble Performance!
I never see anyone use pump gas and meth injection on these Honda’s, it’s super popular on V8 builds, just something I noticed & was curious if there is any particular reason? E85 isn’t easy to find everywhere
Can I add let’s say 1 gallon of e85 for my turbo 8thgen civic. Using stock lines. I don’t want the returnless system to max out. I know e85 gets consumed a lot faster. Would I just use injectors duty cycle in my case to make sure I don’t cross over 80-85% ?? Would appreciate input Thanks BULLIKID
Very informative... Yall keep up the great work and performance parts packaging.. proven and affordable kits. This is a great thing! We'll see what happens with my Christmas bonus this year. Reckon that sidewinder manifold will fit into an mr2 spyder?
Whoever says it's not a budget turbo kit is crazy. Just the fact that you dont have to look and do research to see what parts work well together has to be worth at least $400-$500
Man that sucks when gas station gas isn't even good especially when tuning or driving performance cars. That S2K is in good hands though sounds freakin incredible! Was going to recommend the Garrett replica GTX3582's, but you guys are already considering it lol nice.
No e85 here in Canada, unfortunately. Most we got is 94 octane... And I believe the only reason it's that high is because they blended ethenol with 91.
You can make a lot on pump 93. All comes down to the tune. DDR made 1346whp in a coyote street driven mustang no nitrous or E85. Straight pumped 93 is all that was used. Obviously would make more on other fuels but few street cars on e85 make that much.
@@Ws6Ms didn't say it was completely stock. Aftermarket Rods and pistons with factory block, heads and crank. Has Hellions Eliminator kit with twin 64mm Precision turbos. There still should be a video on Hellions Turbo website.
curious how much cheaper would the Budget turbo kit be with the BoostedBoiz/PFIspeed gt35s(therse are dual ball bearing and like $460 shipped on ebay and pretty proven)and a $70 cast manifold?
i have an ep3 stock paid 4k two years ago for it i need hondata thats another $600 plus depending on version then a k20a2 1k if not more with 6speed plus turbo kit 3k plus dyno time $$??

Something iv always wondered, with a flex fuel sensor inline in the fuel system, if the sensor picked up less octane fuel would the hondata adjust the timing live to suit or is that something you would get with a more advanced ecu like a Haltech
Okay but what about all of us that really have no E85 Stations Near where we live. Cuss There’s only like 1 station in the Whole State That Carries Ethanol in New Jersey
Y'all don't realize e85 "doesn't make more power" the fact its really cold allows you to run way more timing without worrying about pre-detonation cuz the cylinder temps stay cool. BUT e85 is way less efficient hence why you need 30% more fuel off the bat. and has no cleaning agents in it. If u want a race car to last you run race gas. Keeps it the cleanest and makes the most efficient power with the least amount of timing and fuel which is what you want in a race engine not 2000cc of extra fuel and 20 deg of timing. Same exact tune and setup 93 or race gas will make more power guaranteed you will not make "more power" on e85 without alot more fuel and timing in the tune than 93 or race gas would use which is technically not how u want your engine to run. 😂. Some tuner was prob broke and ran e85 one day and now look what happened 🙄. The longest running engines use RACE GAS. Now I'm done.
Incorrect. Same boost, same timing Ethanol makes more power than a high octane gasoline based race fuel. A road course car can't run an alcohol based fuel due to demand. In drag racing, if a class allows it, cars run ethanol for more power. If they can go even farther, they use methanol. If they can go even farther, they use nitromethane. Circle track racecars use methanol. All Motor racecars use Methanol and Nitro. Turbo cars use Methanol. The only reason you'll ever see someone run a leaded race gas is because of class limitation.
@@humbleperformance same boost, same timing AND same exact fuel setup? Meaning injectors and the tune and e85 still makes more power than race gas? Hard to believe.
Just because you don't believe it, doesn't mean it isn't true. If I take a SFWD car tuned on C85 at 50psi making 1200HP and replace the C85 with Q16, the car will drop a lot in power without changing timing or boost, you'll loose over 100HP. Even E85 to E98, you'll see ~5% gain in power at same ignition timing. If you don't believe me, go ahead and dyno a few hundred cars on your dyno using both fuels and report back your results.
@@humbleperformance I'm asking though. Same exact injectors and tune on the fuel and it still makes more power? THATS hard to believe. Meaning if I tune my car on 93. Don't change anything and run straight e85 I'll make more power? There's no way bro lol
You're not asking. You started this thread by saying we don't realize something. Then when faced with facts and experience, have changed your tone. Same exact injectors and fuel system, boost, and ignition on both cars, alcohol based fuels make more power. Pump E85 makes more power than ANY gasoline based race fuel. It's not even a secret or uncommon knowledge.
Yeah all in china but the quality controll makes the difference. I had bw..garrett..and boosted boiz gtx3582r china turbo all in my hands and the fine balancing on oem turbos is better than china copys.
