    Positive pregnancy test, now what? In this video I break down all the need to know information about that first prenatal visit. Prenatal care helps to reduce illness, complications and death rates related to pregnancy. Here are some free resources for those who need them: English (800) 311-BABY . Spanish (800) 504-7081. How does a positive test not mean your pregnant? I thought the whole point of a test was detect any levels of HCG?? I’m lost

      Great question. You can have elevated HCG for others reasons for example Cancer.

    Is your first prenatal visit with your family doctor or OBGYN?

    • @thatnursingprof2661
      @thatnursingprof2661  3 роки тому +1

      They should do similar things. The family doctor might schedule an ultrasound separately whereas the OBGYN will have it ready in their office.
