The pre Kiev Russian Salyut C is a much better camera virtually identical to a 'blad . Which is because they are both exactly the same both made from stolen Nazi plans . The Russians had all the tooling and dyes etc. The Kiev was made later in huge numbers so quality was never as good. Still shoots well though .
What lens is on the camera when you guys are down in the subway?
Mir 26b 45mm f3.5
Loving the subject separation the lens provided.
The bokeh is nice for sure, the images surprised me. Cheers!
U need to try Pentacon 6. 😎
Will see what I can come across. Cheers.

I did not know that, would be nice to try one of higher quality but this one still managed to capture decent images.
@@FoolhardyPhotography and really that's al that matters!
Btw its possible to set instax quick print cassettes on Kiev-88. I was shocked.
You both are not confident with that device...
That was a few years back, I feel more confident when I shoot with medium now, but thanks for noticing.😅
KI-EV. Not KIV! Like the capitol of the Ukraine.
Thanks.
You just decided you were going to butcher all the names huh? 🤣
For sure.
Ho la Kiev 88 è la peggiore macchine fotografica che è stata prodotta. La ho fatta riparare molte volte niente da fare non ha mai funzionato.
