So I aced my phone interview. Knocked the face-to-face interview out of the water. And I just finished my online training. All in all, took about a month to get hired. Starting April 29th!
Did you know much about phones when you started? like the specs in detail? or just the general stuff?
what tips would you give someone who is about to take the interview? what questions came up?
How are you liking the job?
My interview is Friday and I'm really excited.

Be an installer technician then You can be a manager afterwards. Thats what many installers become it that company according to techs i speak with. Pretty neat huh! Way to move your way up easily. It not what you know, its who you kiss @$$ with.

Thats good but somethings wrong with you retailers, whenever i used to go with you because i needed assistance employees always said...call customer service

Retailers don't do anything about existing customers, just upgrades and thats too bad. You make new customers think about how great you are but months later everything goes down and retail stores does NOTHING.
David Noyola If your car breaks down, do you go to the sales person who sold you the car? No, you take it to the service dept so that people who are paid and trained to fix cars, can look it over. Same concept here, call Customer Service - that's what they get paid for.

I worked for these idiots two years ago, don't let this video fool you, they have a strict union and point system which means if you call in sick four times in a six month period you ate fired.
Plus you don't only sell phones, you must sell tablets, home security systems, AT&T U-Verse, Direct TV and other unnecessary things to the customer while keeping your "metrics" up.
That means in a survey a customer can like you but hate AT&T.
All in all I hated working there!!
Your complaints are pathetic.. Please give me a real reason why working there is bad because I applied and had a successful phone interview today. Hoping to make it to the final rounds of the interview and eventually get hired there but if there is a REAL reason why I shouldnt work there then Id like to know.

Junior Nguyen Well I myself havnt been hired yet, still in the interview process. I applied for the sales consultant position, go for that position. Its a good way to get your foot in the door.
