That's a relief. Thought the cooldown was a bit low... The other buffs were really crazy though... Guess its still gotta live out its EX title while possible 😅
@jakiru8783 it doesn't feel like much of a impact. The 10 percent increase is nice but with how much burst damage others can do makes it not worth much. It's a strong unite don't get me wrong, I think it just takes time to know when to use it and when yo just score

I do have to admit, one of the best things about Pokémon unite is that when you play the Pokémon, you feel like you ARE that Pokémon. They can always make the kit not that close to their in-game lore but they did.
@@julius_patyeah, I even love that they pay homage to things certain pokémon are known for outside of their lore. Like giving Scizor Bullet Punch, or Mimikyu Trick Room. Those are not really characteristic moves of those pokémon, at least at a design level, but they're widely used competitively in the main games. So it's a nice reference. I have to give it up, at least they have a certain degree of appreciation for the franchise.
Best thing about Ho-oh revive is being revived into a dog pile of CC and dying instantly again. Just yesterday I died and spawned into a Delphox ulti followed by Trevenant woodhammer combo and another time conveniently in a Gardevoir ulti into a Meowscarada ultimate together. And when I was playing Delphox myself, I happened to spawn inside a Metagross wall and instantly pop to a Gyroball as my character loaded in
Being the target of a revive feels super weird to me lol Like, you're too used to having to wait out the respawn timer when you go down only for the timer to suddenly disappear and pull you straight back into the game It's like Hoopa with one less step lol
I agree 100% ho oh not being able to self revive makes no sense it forces you to essentially backline in big fights turning your tank into a supporter. Ho oh somehow has the best unite in the game while also having the worst unite in the game.
Ho-oh needs a battlepass so people can see an obvious effect on their screen when they're revived. Sometimes I don’t even notice that I've been revived lol.
I agree the only good thing from this is the less points to revive everyone. Everything else doesnt make much of a difference since you still have to judge properly when to use it and it can still go to waste due to the teammates or even ho-oh themselves since it can revive someone into an instant death scenario.
Yes!! If they truly want this thing to stay a Defender it needs to revive itself rather than allies. That said, it should probably still just be reworked to be a full on Support, as that's more thematic for it.
I do wish they fixed the damage bug on firespin with this update because it's really unfortunate to lose a fight you would have normally won due to firespin not doing damage.
The thing with getting stunned is annoying in both the moves this weeeeee one and that other flamethrower one, A game with this much stuns already u r gonna get your moves cancelled most of times in the fight which is not good
i'm confused how there is this much confusion in 1 comment section. are you referring to another part of the video or ??? absol AND charizard were both revived 5:52 absols was around 20 second cooldown. charizard around 8 seconds. both revived then died. idk why this is even being talked about, watch the video?
Think it'd be cool if the unite was instead a move you could charge, over 3.5 seconds, starting at 50%HP-revival but can be charged up to around 75%. Energy cost per teammate starting at 6 but going up to 12. Any energy unused you'd keep. This would probably still need tuning for competitive if it ever allowed there but I like this better in concept than the current energy consumption.
@@Agilepickleuniteit is very much based on a leopard. They’ve always been the legendary beasts, not dogs. They have some canine traits but they are closer to cats.
Ho-oh is a pheonix and in mythology pheonix when it dies it revives itself with its flames that should've been also implanted if u have unite and u die ur unite is gone and ur revives at 50% health
I think ho oh is able to pull off plenty of builds depending on whether you want to go attack focused or tanky. From my not many matches played on it I'd recommend some combination of weight, bangle, policy, cookie, resonant, or focus (and xp share if you really trust your allies)
Personally bangle should be an automatic pick for one of your items. Then the other two depend on the play style, like @BeastPoke777 said. I run bangle, policy, and cookie with fire spin and sky attack.
@@technicfusion295ur right with bangle but no use for policy cuz ur not doing damage regardless of ur build. Res focus or Xp share would be better for no oh
Don’t think ho-oh is good for solo queue anyways. Imagine your team has a duo with Ho-Oh, one dies alone, Ho-oh revives him, then they both go down again. It’s just like feeding them more XP and giving chances of comeback
I'm not complaining about a Pokemon that can revive its teammates being underwhelming tbh, imagine if it was broken like Mewtwo or Zacian and just having a global revive that heals you to 70% and also gives you a speed boost or something
Hey cris, ive stopped playing unite for about a month and a half, felt like its been boring, no new pokemon, ranking system sucks, and no new maps. do you think TiMi will listen to the community now, and if so should i come back and play the game?
Come back in september. If they make do on their promise in the dev letter, than I think you very much should, but Unite right now is definitely not a great current state.
The recent "letter from the producer" promised monthly balance patches with occasional small ones between, more frequent pokemon releases similar to previous years, and the complete removal of the ex label in september alongside nerfs to mewtwo zacian and miraidon. I'd say things are looking good for the future of the game if they really follow through with all that
We will probably see back to back releases from September but they need to give us more coin resources like the coin event where you can get upto 1000 coins by playing matches
So, they buffed the attributes and even made it so that you only need 25 Aeos Energy to revive 4 allies and sacrificed the CD of this move. I guess they wanna make this move impactful but make it like Mewtwo's Unite Move where its an impactful unite move with a higher CD.
8/10 games is the most useless unite ever existes.. it s just a no unite for almost all the game in solo q.. 2/10 game could be decent at ray fight if ho ho was a decent mon with stuns heal or more damage or just a decent range attack to zone enemies

The max usage of it is only twice. So, they decided to make it impactful in its attributes while sacrificing it's CD.
What I think it should be is : if you have it when you die, you revive but it uses the unite, if you use it you sacrifice yourself and revive all of your allies with full HP and their unite ready for use..
