That’s right!
I like the way you teach thank you...
Awesome info man! i've been pickin a little more than a year now (switched over to bluegrass from a rock/blues background), i like to come back to these basics and just see if there might be extra tips or tricks that i haven't found yet. one of the things i love the most about the bluegrass community is how almost everyone seems so willing to share and help out anybody who will listen and stick with it. also, i really like how you said "there's no where to hide in bluegrass" that is very true. have a great day!!
Thanks so much, Joel! I’ll be uploading more in the next couple of days.
Been trying to find a easy to learn vid on this....thanks keep up the good work
I like that you said I can ask questions. You're a small creator, which I think can play in my favor if I stick around and ask questions. Thank you for taking the time to put out this tutorial!
Absolutely! Anything in particular you’d like to learn about?
I like your teaching style - practical, useful and not too fast. Also breaking things down into baby steps. The two tips on how to learn and get faster are also helpful. Thank you.
Thanks Laura! Is there anything specific you’d like a video on?
Great teaching style, someone that has just noodled for years can jump right into your videos and quickly learn these licks, now its on my to practice and get them cemented into muscle memory. Thank you for your hard work, subscirbed!
Absolutely brilliant, just subbed, cheers from New Zealand
Cheers! Thanks so much!
Thank you so much for these lessons! I started playing when I was in the sixth grade with a few in person lessons on my then new, finger killer $30.00 Harmony guitar. Since then I've been basically a campfire level player for about 60 years. Lately I've been trying to really learn the guitar on a deeper level. I live on only my Social Security so paying for lessons is out of the question. I've scoured You Tube for months looking for some basic, get started, bluegrass lessons like this. There are some fine teachers here but not a lot of down to earth slow simple and free, get a handle on it type lessons like you've so kindly put up. I hope you keep adding to these fine lessons when you have the time.
Thanks for the kind words! I definitely will be!
sick dude!! really appreciate this
Really enjoyed this lesson! If you have anymore like this I'm in! Just subscribed.
Thanks! I’ll be posting more in the next couple days. Keep checking back!
Hey that was cool. Now what about the 2nd lick, can you present that one to? If not i"ll have to learn it in slow motion.
Thanks! This video isn’t exactly the same lick, but a slight variation. Try this out, a cool one anyways!
