Ah, a DD Hammock - either Frontline or Travel Hammock/Bivi. I've got the Travel Hammock/Bivi. Heavily modified the suspension, added a Dyneema structural ridgeline. Gotta say, I'm jealous that you can say with confidence that it's not going to rain and it's safe to sleep under the stars. I've always got to put up the tarp because you don't know what the weather's going to do between bedtime and breakfast. OK, also jealous of the steak! That was enormous.

What a perfect evening! The ocean waves crashing on the beech with a luvly piece of steak for supper washed down with beers on a beautiful little spot jealous comes to mind on this vid. Thoroughly enjoyed watching this

looks like a good place to fish the beach i do a lot of beach fishing im down in Dorset in Christchurch so I'm spoilt for beaches, if ever you want to come down and camp on the beach and do some fishing shout me ude be welcome down here mate

I setup my hammock once in a public park and surprising how many kids went passed and staired as tho they never seen one als o a few said its not good idea. Been using one for over 4 years and never fallen out even set it up in the dark just using moon light

I did a recon down there bout 3 weeks ago. I was the same... fancied a beach hammock camp. You must have been gutted the prime place was taken... as it is quite awesome. Personally I was put off the place by obvious reasons. Anyway, good vid bud...that was a whopper of a steak.

Kent Survival nice. well I subscribed off the back of this video, it made me nostalgic for beach camping again. have watched a few of the others too was drawn to them by the ration videos. An avid user/sampler of military rations myself.

Most welcome, Led's are bright and retina burning indeed. Not surprised that was a monster. I would've stuck it straight on that hot stone though.
I was tempted, did that in dartmoor and worked well but i wanted to do it a little slower being so damn thick :)
