So I know the "panic room" is supposed to be a metaphor for anxiety, but I can't help but think of the Fear Simulations from the Divergent book series (and movies I guess) The chorus especially! "Welcome to the Panic Room, where all your darkest fears are gonna come for you" That literally happens in a Fear Simulation, your darkest fears come for you and you have to face them. "You'll know I wasn't joking when you see them too" Everyone has fears, and when you go through the Fear Simulation, you can see them for yourself. This also kind of reminds me of Tobias and his fears, kind of like he's telling Tris "You'll know I wasn't joking when you see them too" because even though he only has 4 fears, some of them (especially the last one) are frightening. I hope I'm not the only one that thought of this!
