I was at the game last night. We were simply up against a better team full of players with more athletic and technical ability. We also didn't show up from the first minute until Maguire scored our goal for us. Played for 10 minutes then England stepped it up again. Was quite disappointed afterwards, but on reflection, it's a good lesson for us going into the Euros and i'm sure Clarke will have taken a lot away from the match. On to the next one. England have the team to win the Euros. If we can qualify out of our group it's progress.
if i may say , i English by birth ( Newcaslte ) but its healthy to have all this passion and competition in a great historcal game. There is no friendlies in terms of when these two meet . But take as a positive how far Scotland have come over the last few years and i for one am happy to see the success Clarke is bringing. Forget any past history etc and when looking into a sport scenario its great to see the passion Scotland shows and always an mazing rendition of " Flower of Scotland" i wish Scotland well in the future . Also below i seen such a silly comment about no backbone and jelly fish ????? i hope this is just silly soccer reaction banter as in battles away from these shores the Scots make up a good portion of our armed forces etc and provide some of the greatest regiments etc. fact
