yes! I remember when I first started learning four mallets (percussion) I would get blisters and they just say "you'll get a nice callus".. eventually they appeared...
Re: Angle of the neck - are you using the fret markers on top of the neck? Also the neck is kind of low, can you bring it up closer to your eyes versus leaning down to the neck?
ummm... no.... *sheepishly looks down at the neck and notices they're there* and also, I always feel like I start closer to my eyes and it just sinks down lower. I will try both of these things tomorrow! thanks
