If you're feeling like you need slightly more damage, but still need a good healer, go for Huohuo. If you want to play braindead (like me), go for Luocha.

HuoHuo heals, regen energy and buff DMG. Luocha heals and generate Skill Points.
People seem to underestimate Luocha being extremely SP positive. His auto-heal doesn't cost SP and gives himself energy for ult. If you used Luocha technique before battle, he can go an entire MoC battle without using any skill point at all because the healing from his healing field and auto-heals are enough. This means every SP that Luocha generates can be freely used by SP-hungry carries like IL Dan Heng, Seele or Bronya. Luocha can virtually go in any team, including double DPS teams or single DPS + Bronya team.
HuoHuo needs to consume SP when she heals. She tends to be SP neutral, and sometimes negative. This means when you slot her into a team with someone like IL Dan Heng who eats all your SP, you will need another SP generator in the team. It's very hard for HuoHuo to support a double DPS team since she doesn't generate SP and in that case you'll need an extremely SP positive character for the last slot who can generate enough SP to the double DPS chars.

@@Aliens1337except Hip Huo's energy recharge can, in some teams, be considered skill points, since it can make up for the extra energy from using a skill vs using an attack. @GuobaCertified made a nice video on her.
5:08 i feel like with a double dps team you might run into SP issues… even with blade and jingliu, it’s important to remember that neither of them generate SP and they require consistent healing and in order to have consistent healing, Huohuo’s talent needs to be active, and in order to activate her talent she MUST consume SP since all of her healing, including her talent, is locked behind using her skill. Plus, her ult is 140 energy. That’s a lot. I think that’s the highest cost in the whole game.
I currently run a double dps team in Topaz/Clara and I haven't had that many SP issues. Any dual dps with Clara has always been managable SP-wise from my experience. It's not super hard to manage the SP needed when your damage is gonna be enough that spending a turn getting some back won't hurt you a ton in the long run
@@matthewglenn3081 I actually think double DPS Clara/Topaz is one of the best double DPS teams for a lot of reasons. Since Clara runs slow, even if you only use skill her SP use is manageable, and Topaz only loses a bit of damage from using Basic instead of skill. Plus, Clara brings AoE to back up Topaz's single target.
That'll be fixed soon enough. Just pair them up with Ruan Mei or Hanya and give either one Bronya's light cone if you have it and you'll probably never run out of SP.

@@matthewglenn3081Clara can use BA, Topaz is made to be sp neutral/positive sub dps/support.
Basically:
Play Luocha if you have trouble staying alive
Play Huohuo if your enemies are still alive
Her insane crowd control cleansing is worrying me about the future enemies debuffing you.

Well it does look like Hoyo is running out of ideas for enemy mechanics. Every single enemy after 1.4 irc is just "I debuff you, i can also buff myself. Can't do anything about the buffs? Too bad, they won't go away without a debuffer/cleanse". Can't blame them though, it is a turn based game

they must either ddoing much more dmg every turn than your dps or unbelievable amount of cc
honestly im hoping future enemies will have more gimmicky skill like spd buff adn summon

Huo Huo definitely looks like a valuable support unit! thankfully i already have Luocha and all the other currently available abundance characters so she’s not a must-pull for me rn… instead Ruan Mei and Xueyi are priority pulls for me! but i’ll prob get her on a rerun cause she is adorable and has a lot of great utility in her kit 👍✨
I actually have both Luocha and Fu Xuan. I use Luocha constantly on my teams because of his good healing. Since I also have Blade he is constantly on my team because of that. I've used Fu Xuan and like having her around. I think I'll skip Huohuo for now, but I may wait and see what she can do to see if I want to pull for her.
Huohuo continues a weird trend in my account where all abundance or preservation units i pull for prank me with a loss of 50/50 and then come home in the next 5 pulls. Happened with Luocha, Fu Xuan and now HuoHuo. Meanwhile mommy kafka made me go all the way to 140...
If she had way better 4 stars characters in her banner, more ppl would consider pulling for her

They seriously need to realize that putting shitty 4 stars on good 5 stars’ banners isn’t effective. Just go all out and put some good ones on the banner then people would have every reason to pull, it literally only works in their favor. Sick and tired of this “trash 4 stars on good 5 star and good 4 stars on mid 5 star” bullshit they’ve been pulling.

im tempted to get her cuz fu xuan is the only 5star sustain i have on my acct and i quite like huohuo, but geez the 4stars... nat and/or firemc have been good enough on my second side, but the sheer amount of cleanses huohuo offers has me scared for the future xD
usually if you just want it to be less problematic you can pair her with blade/jingliu but you cant play her Alongside both of them (not unless you have someone like a properly built asta since she gets her ult early and has bronya's main lightcone and giving huohuo the healer's full set so you get lots of skill points...)
Was gonna save for Loucha but she regens energy and buffs attack and since I main Jingliu she seemed like a better choice, also she's cute even though I haven't finished the quest yet all I did was meet her and played for a few minutes. I will admit I possibly could have gotten e2 Loucha and his lc if I continued saving which e2 is what I want for him at least but if I start now and stay on top of it I should be fine unless ofc he's after SW rerun, they already skipped Jing yuan.
I have fully built Luocha, Bailu, and Lynx so I'm really on the fence. Consolidating Harmony and Abundance seems crazy good for dual DPS. My biggest gripe with team building is that I can't put Luocha on both sides of MoC.
I'm kinda in the same boat. I've got Fu Xuan on one team and Bailu or Lynx for the other. My teams end up being DHIL and either Jing Yuan/Topaz or Kafka.
I just feel like there's no real justification to pull for her. The only place I see her going is with the Jing Yuan/Topaz or Kafka teams since they can utilize the raw attack as a whole team (DHIL has Yukong and Tingyun to supercharge him).
IF by some miracle of wallet I got E2 on HuoHuo she'd instantly replace Bailu since that revive is basically the only separating factor for me, but I just don't see a super need for it.
I've got Natasha, Lynx, Bailu, and Loucha and I am still going for her because the game gives use enough jades to do so.
Right me too that’s why I pulled for her and now I have 2 five star solo sustains and I don’t regret it she will hold her value forever bc she’s a healer and those are scarce right now but even in the future healing and cleaning will still be needed

Glad to see this. I thought shes just another healer. hmm seems like I need her to save a slot for buffer and healer. Too bad I wasted my remaining jades for Seele's LC but didnt manage to get one.
I have 3 teams so I needed 3 healers (I like building characters for a team because it synergizes well not for all purpuse use) and Natasha isn't doing enough, I have Lynx on my Clara team, Luocha on my IL Dan Heng team and Natasha on my Jing Yuan Team but I feel like Natasha doesn't cleanse enough.
I got her e6. The moment you activate her e6, she becomes an entirely different character. Even her e4 provides a ridiculous amount of healing bonus. But that 50% DMG bonus is always active. When you use her skill, all three targets get the 50% DMG bonus, speed bonus (from e1) and a stack of her LC atk bonus each. ANd its always active.
she literaly gives you that one abundance blessing anywhere

rly want to pull for her, her atk boost n energy regeneration from her ult really helps out my jingliu. not sure whether to save for ruan mei or spend it on huohuo man.
watching this from the future and i'm so glad i pulled for huohuo she's one of the top sustains still to this day meanwhile luocha (who i was kicking myself for not getting when i was pulling for huohuo) fell off so bad a 4* is outperforming him even the teams where he was needed most for being sp efficient has an upgrade with sparkle ofc he's still the best for blade specifically but that's it any team where a sustain is needed just use huohuo, fu xuan, aventurine, or even gallagher and you're good
pulled for huohuo as i only have bailu & nat, she's been super fun to have and use! i didn't mind the 4 stars tbh. i got some shop currency lol

I pulled her even though i already have Gepard, Luocha, Fu Xuan, and Lynx (admittedly not built well). I'm not actually sure where I'll put her. I replaced Gepard with her on my Kafka team, but Gepard's freeze is nice sometimes. I have some good DPSes already with Kafka, Jing Yuan, Clara and DHIL. Honestly I probably should have saved for Ruan Mei. Didn't think i would win the 50/50 😅
I have a built Gepard, Natasha, Lynx, Luocha, and Fu Xuan. I won’t be going for her this time since I have other priorities but I’m gonna try and go on her rerun. I relate to her and Tails is just a mood lol

I pulled HuoHuo. Originally I wanted Argenti but I noticed the dps for my account is perfectly fine with Himeko and the other characters you get upon starting the game(to clarify I’ve been playing for little over a week). I have Natasha but I don’t use her. Looked around and saw people using Tingyun and HuoHuo and having no energy or healing problems. I have Tingyun and other supports so it feels like my account is very support heavy. I play genshin and nothing is more annoying than having really good dps but no supports to survive or buff. HuoHuo has become a staple for my teams. My sustain, buffs, and er are exactly where I want it to be considering where I am in the game

i still have 4 stars in my party and i am okay with that. i still consider myself a new player (my only 5 star i pulled for in the character banner is Topaz).
as someone who already have luocha and e0s1 fuxuan, my sustainer units is already complete. huo2 seems nice but I'd rather have a solid buffer/debuffer units that is not in between like her
i was thinking maby since dont got loucha but allready got fu xuan and lynx. but i really did like the other effects that others dont have in healing but that roster of 4 stars one MIGHT use is serval but got kafka now. so maby just hold off abd pickuo her rerun, i miught try a few low-pity pulls tho so a chance.
I built pity trying to get Guinaifen eidolons, so I was one 10 pull away from pity this morning when Huohuo dropped. Unfortunately she wasn't guaranteed and I lost. Fortunately I lost to E1 Bronya and now I'm guaranteed for Ruan Mei. Though I would have wanted her I'll be fine with my Luocha and Fu Xuan for the foreseeable future 😉 I'd trade Luocha for her in a heartbeat if could tho since she has a higher skill ceiling and she's so adorable.

I'm up in the air about pulling for her. I do have Lynx, Fu Xuan, Bailu and Gepard. I also have guarantee, I'm not 100% sure on if I should pull for her. For my DPS's I have Kafka, Jingliu and Seele. I'm wondering if she'd be worth it right now.

Genuine question, why you forgot Pela when talking about Teams with Multiple Carrys, especially in the case in the team with Jingliu and Blade, she amplifies the DMG of both removing 40 Def of the Enemy, while being a SP Positive/Neutral, a Unit doesn't need to be a Harmony to be able to support a Carry

Fr. Pela is one of the best, if not the best support for dual DPS teams
because 40 def will not gonna boost break, sure, its nice, but overall, the harmony characters we have are betters than debuffers, since their buffs can't be taken away, but the debuffs can, especialy at bosses, the only debuffs not going away are guinafengs (wich i use consitently) or confusion in SU, if a debuff can be cleansed, its kinda less worth than consistent buff wich can't be taken away (as much i can remember from 1.0 playing trough 1.5) def reduction will be worse than DMG/crit buff
@@hvcskmagyar just build your Pela to be fast, then with Tutorial Mission/Vonwacq/ERR rope she's got literally 100% uptime on her ult without using a single skill point. It's broken as all hell
Was trying to get topaz until my last pull, in which I got her, but now my hopes of getting the new healer are dead :(

Probably on a rerun I can consider it but I'm in no urgent need of a healer. I'm still actively using Bailu and I don't have Luocha.
Maybe I will go for her in a rerun because I already have Luocha and Fu Xuan and I will pull for Silver Wolf.

While I like Huohuo, I don't think I will pull on the banner, maybe 1 ir 2 multis for the lols, but I am currently trying to recharge my jade reserves after Fu - Jingliu - Topaz, that and I have Luocha(E2) and Bailu(E1). Good luck to anyone who is pulling on the banner!

yes, honestly shes a better Luocha to me, he served his purpose and has his place but Huohuo's massive attack boost, energy regain ultimate to team and attack debuff to enemies is so much better than a skillpoint here and there that he "might" save you including the word might because Luocha can only cleanse by using skillpoints if it is not autoproced by being at 50% health or less or w/e,
When you want to deliberately cleanse someone with Luocha if the target is not 50% or less proccing a freehealcleanse from him then you are dipping into skillpoint reserves much in the same as how Huohuo heals/cleanses with her E skill so you have to factor that into theories that many are glossing over.
If you want her, go for it, but FX and Luocha are stated to be easier to slot in any team than Huohuo. Do use Fu though, she is amazing.
I have Fu Xuan Gepard and like Lynx Bailu but no Luocha so curious if I should get. I would be going for her immediately if her banner wasnt trash. Hanya should have been on her banner. Not fair Argenti banner sooo much better lol

I have only played for about month (i played on ps5) so the only two healers i know about are Natasha and Bailu. (i got Bailu) but cool another healer!!

I barley started playing a few days ago and am compelled F2P. I’m so torn between her and SW that’s coming out soon too. My Natasha is doing the job well rn so think I might skip Huohuo sadly.

Blade and kafka are rerunning on 1.6 and its from a reliable leaker so u might have to wait till 2.0+ but its better than pulling on a bad banner where only the 5 star is worth it
Seeing that you are a whale in HSR I what to suggest video idea: try to test what are the worst possible relics you can use to clear MoC (8~10) while having high eidalons (so obj is to just 30 star). It is obvious that with high eidalons 0 cycle is much easier, but question is how much eidalons relive you from NEED to farm decent relic?
As much as i would love to have another healer with some support features i prefer to skip her and save my pity for silver wolf's rerun, i already have loucha and a 6k hp bailu / gepard to solo sustain my parties, i need a better debuffer now than another healer
I’m f2p with luocha and bailu but I’m still pulling for huohuo... Idk why but lately I’ve been so frustrated with bailu, idk what this feeling is but i’m annoyed at her kit and it just enrages me every time I wanna use her.... Anw, good luck to everyone on their pulls!
Probably due to the facts she can't cleanse, and her E is rng. Enemies nowadays will throw out many debuff, and able to hard CC your team; and having a unit like Luocha, Lynx, and Huohuo can save you. That's what I experienced as a Bailu haver.
Bailu is going to keep dropping over time cos she doesn't offer much tbh, sure the revive is handy but rng heals and no cleanse suck big time and her passives are crap compared to Huo Huo or Luocha

about the Bailu thing...like someone said earlier, that she has RNG in her kit, her E many times won't heal more than 1 person when I want her to spread the healing to counter aoe/dots // aoedots. She also sometimes her E will rng again and heal 2or 3 people when I want it to heal that 1 person at least twice to give them what they need in healing,
or sometimes I want her E to heal ther person shes healing and herself because if she dies from RNG enemies her revive won't proc, many times she dies first and didnt get to use her revive proc and then I feel her entire run or picking an using her was wasted and this is her with 6k HP, 50% healing bonus, 1k defense, and E1 as well...
bailu is just so trolly with the RNG on her E topped off with her ressurection not working if she dies or is under CC
(Even with 40% Effect Res she gets under CC manytimes, honestly the passive/trait they gave to a Harmony buffer/Hunt hybrid Yukong with it 100% resisting a CC the first time every turn should have been given to her and other weak healers like Natasha/Bailu)
TLDR: Huohuo > Bailu 1000x over even without a revive mechanic, and relying on Bailu past lvl 70 for content is just so RNG and really bringsBailu to Natasha levels of usefulness but without the cleanse=trollup levels of healer
I am new player f2p and doesn’t have Loucha. And I pull for her for gacha addiction. I have build Lynx. Let me say it she made me clear the stimulated universe content with auto battle. I am really happy that I pulled for her.

u can pull for her if u like especially if u don't have a limited 5 star sustain but jingliu & dhil are the best characters in the game rn so
Bailu is falling off pretty hard tbh, in a couple of patches she'll be trash, cos she can't cleanse and that's super important rn
So economically speaking, if i have bailu, lynx, and fu xuan, then it would be financially responsible to pass this banner up? Dps are qq and jingliu.

@@certiimpact what I'm thinking is that it's probably ok to skip, since we can use fu xuan to solo sustain one team, and bailu/lynx for the other. While huohuo would be nice to have for jingliu/seele teams, she's not a necessity and only makes that one team stronger.

I pulled for her despite having Loucha Bailu and Lynx because she’s just too adorable to resist. Don’t you all just want to give her a big old hug? The fact that her kit is amazing is just a nice bonus. On top of this, my last 5 star was Wekt, and all the five stars coming in the near future I either have or aren’t that appealing. I’ll probably put her in my Kafka team with Luka and Guinaifen.

Dan il E2 plus tingyun + yukong + huohuo is probably some of the most frontloaded damage in this game, absolutely insane.
I got her and her light cone with less than 12k gems. I have to go for the E2 with this luck.

@@sumbunniii8721 Luocha is the best healer, while Huohuo is a very good healer with extra utility
As someone who is skipping Huohuo because i have Luocha, I can still highly recommend Huohuo, the buffs she can provide your team as a semi harmony unit while also still being able to heal units like Blade and Jingliu well. She can also cleanse, which is one highly regarded trait of Luocha
Dont worry about element coverage for now, get a good spread of character types you need. Some DPS, buffers, debuffers, healers, tanks

as a SW main, she’s way worth it and the only “must pull” imo…literally has gotten me thru endless content and makes so many teams work. Plus u really feel like u can skip banners with her in ur roster

I am not sure Luocha or Huo Huo is the better. Luocha can give me more healing and he almost never use SP but he just give healing and one cleanse. While Huo Huo is always cleanse and give a lot of healing she give me buffs too. But while Luocha has an emergency healing, Hou Huo doesen't. So i dunno who is the better at this moment, but i love that i have both of them. They are really good ones and helped me to beat the simulated universe, swarm disaster, gold and gears and the MoC too. I love both of them.

I did the same even after I used so much resources to get lynx to 80 and talents to 8 😢 wish you could reset characters and get your material back at least half of them

Personal Huohuo pros: I only have Nat and Lynx for sustain, and it’d be nice to get more eidolons for the featured 4*s, I have Jingliu+Tingyun+Pela for that comp 😈😈😈
Personal SW pros: I also really want Hanya who will be featured on the same banner, infinitely more versatile & future-proof ofc especially with most of my best carries being just 4*s

Her Cleanse on her skill is basically having the blessing of the Abundance that cleanses all debuffs when triggered.
Luocha at base can remove one buff from all enemies with his ult that can be spamed quite a lot, making him a bit of nihility. Huohuo seems great but you already have luocha and fu xuan, she's very skippable, if you only have one of them, then she's a lot more worth it, if you have neither of them, then she can be aa must pull
I definitely would have strongly considered Huohuo but I decided I’d rather save my jades in case I lose 50/50 while going for Argenti. A shame considering the two of them would be a truly dynamic duo, but we make hard choices in this house.
Want to not explode in moc? Fu Xuan/Gepard
Want to make the enemies explode? Huohuo
Want to not use your brain? Luocha
Now if there's a third character that regens energy, then the "Generator" meta will be prominent.

Honestly,Huohuo is very interesting.
Very cute & funny as well.
But looking at my acc,Nat,Lynx & Bailu are all still lvl 60.
