Off to Walmart or Target tomorrow for pipe cleaners.. my starter locs are 3 months old right now. I need to wash them, but its bot time for a retwist, this will be perfect. Thank you for the idea! Your hair turned out beautifully..

I wasn’t sure what the process was and was annoyed by a friend who was telling me not to do pipe cleaners. Now, I see why she didn’t want me to try this technique. Love this look on you. Looking forward to seeing the take down. With JBC oil being so thick, are you concerned about build up in your locs over time? I use on my loose natural hair while growing it out but not sure if it would be too heavy/sticky when I decide to loc. Really enjoy your videos.
