My favorite singer of all time. I first heard of him when I was 17. I will be 70 in a few months. My love of his music has never faded. John inspired millions with his voice and his music. For all the Denver fans today will continue to carry his legacy to the next generation. I hope that his fans were able to see him in concert at least once before he died. 😢 I got to see him twice in concert. 😊 May his spirit continue to live in our hearts 💕
I turn 70 in a few months too! John Denver gave us visions of clear blue skies and rolling seas. Very touching and inspiring through nature, a lovely voice, beautiful guitar playing, and lots of genuine love our planet.
❤ I love hearing these! 🎶 JD was all of 20 years old and so talented! 👏 I can't believe this was 60 years ago! Especially love "Four strong winds"... Which he recorded later and was released after his death. Thanks for sharing! ❤
Thank God for John Denver. What a difference he made in all our lives. We are blessed to have been alive during his time here. And thank God for Milt Okun, Hal Thau, and - yes - Jerry Weintraub who saw and heard something in this young man's voice and helped develop him into the superstar he became.
Just an amazing man that gave he's all to the world every song he sang was very special to all the people he met along the way we all are so happy to have him in our lives including one big fan such as me. ❤😊🎶🎤🎸🎹🎻🎼❤
These songs can be found on a cd album called All of memories the John Denver Collections. It starts with his start and goes through the years he performed. It’s a great album.
I worked setting up radio shows for John in the 80s and early 90s. He was an extraordinary man who loved flying, nature, and what it would take to end hunger. He was easy to connect with...He once told me he wanted to do a concert at Madison Square Garden, billed by himself and Frank Sinatra...to end hunger. Sorry, it never happened. So sorry he left us too soon...
John had such a special talent to make you feel that he was singing just to you, he made it such a personal experience. I was blessed to see him in concert about 12 times throughout the years with my family, 3 were his Christmas concerts where he brought in local children’s choir to help him with a lot of the choruses on the Christmas songs. He was simply magic on stage.
This is such a beautiful breath of fresh air to hear (along with the hope in our hearts that the rumors are true). Purity and perfect pitch before all the music manipulation. ❤✨️🙏🎶🎵🩵

What a beautiful voice!
So cool to hear something from so early in his career!
He was great!
Awesome
I bet Capitol Records was kicking themselves after John became a big star. 😂
