Of course, James and Aleks (and a little bit of Aaron/intern joe) are pretty much carrying the entertainment on the channel and meanwhile the others are treating almost all of the audience as little 12 year olds. Yes, some of the people that watch them are young, but most of them are teens/adults too. The channel, in my opinion, has been going downhill ever since sly left the group.

It's best to view your channel as a hobby. It's more fun that way. Sure you could grind and try to make a career out of it or you could enjoy your life and have fun doing what you want to do. You do what makes you happy Dex, don't let others drag you down.

I've seen Dex go through his ups and downs. Its been a while since he treated UA-cam as just a hobby, so i'm a bit worried about how going back will change his style. The time when Seamus wasn't really around is when it REALLY started going downhill. Even after Max and Sly left I felt they still could keep it going and it would be good, but they've never recovered after Seamus stopped appearing in videos. It also sucks though, because Seamus and James have always been my favorites, and who knows if they'll ever do anything together again (I hope they do) It sucks seeing a group you've loved watching for 6 years fall apart like this, but at this point I wish they'd just put if out of its misery like you said and James and Aleks do their own thing (will possible guest appearances from old friend like Sly and Seamus??)

+Kokobro Gassy didnt leave, he was essentially voted out. For not contributing much, he had barely been in any videos for a few month and was spending a lot of time with his girlfriend. There was some large issues between him and Dan as well I think.
If James left the Creatures, they'd be in serious trouble! Him & Aleks are the one's who are really keeping them alive! Dan & Spencer are annoying af and Kootra seems to kill the fun out of everything, like he's the parent of the group telling them not to do this and that, like wtf! It's a shame they treated Dex in that way, as he has a lot of talent, he's defiantly more entertaining than half of the other creatures! It was more fun when Sly, Kevin, Seamus where in it :( sad times!

You should watch Roosterteeth, if you want more of the video games then you should watch achievement hunter and their let's play channel. It's still mostly achievement hunter. I really do recommend watching them! (Achievement hunter is apart of roosterteeth)

This sucks. Dex took so much shit from the Creatures' "fans" for no reason and yet he was on the Hub every single day for them. The fact that the Hub is only once a week now probably speaks volumes... I'm glad he got out, he definitely brought the entertainment factor to a lot of Creature videos and he also seemed to be the only one not acting for the camera, but if he's being treated as a second class citizen then it's not worth it. Always been a big fan of the Creatures, but hearing this stuff is definitely disappointing. Best of luck mate!
Man, listening to his story is making me look at the creatures differently, I know people are different off camera but whoa. I really liked Dexter on the creatures probably one of my favorites. I think the creatures being with rooster teeth is gonna help them but change the way they are as a whole

Really appreciate the honesty. From the Creatures standpoint, it is important for the company not to have a bad rep. But, it's an asshole move to lecture you when, as you said, they do worse things. From this video we can see really clearly that The Creatures is a business/brand now, not that group of friends who want to have fun playing video games back then. After all these years, Chilled was right. That "boss" mentality that mainly Jordan has brought the falling out for them imo. Specially that now The Creatures is a business and not a group. I will not be surprised if James and Aleks leaves the group right now. It seems that they are the only ones left that actually just wants to play games with friends, have fun, and entertain. If you've seen the content in Cow Chop and the "content" that's in the Hub, you'll see the difference. I'll continue to support you even if you're not a Creature anymore. I find you really entertaining rather than 80% of what's left of The Creatures.
Eh, i still enjoy the Creatures' content, but as you said, it's pretty apparent they've become a business, and i also wouldn't be surprised if James and Aleks left to just work on Cow Chop. I think the Creatures would be cool people to hang out with, but not to work for.
James and Aleks MIGHT (this is just a prediction of the current state that the group is in) leave the creatures if cow chop is big enough because it is pretty possible for them to start their own group on their own. I doubt that will happen though since they are linked with a bunch of other big channels now.

At first when Dex was first shown on the channel, I think it was the Red Faction videos, I wasn't used to him, but I didn't mind having him there. As for the others who despised him for literally no reason, it was fucking stupid. Then when he joined, to no one else's surprise, he grew on me. I enjoyed him and thought of him as a creature. As for Spencer and the interns, I just don't find them entertaining as Dex and the original creatures. it sucks that the business took a turn for the worst now. I'm glad Cow Chop is a thing, but as for the creaturehub, it Isn't the same. The constant "Cornered" and "HUB" leads to little to no variation between the videos. The "vlogs" aren't even fun to watch anymore. The Creatures have sadly taken a turn for the worst, leaving 4 "main creatures" remaining. This isn't the first time we heard about them doing something like this. I'm glad Dex could speak out, it means a lot more than just vaguely describing what happened. IT IS ABOUT TIME SOMEONE SPOKE UP ABOUT THE CREATURES if you honestly watch their content and did not notice the decrease in quality, and really start to wonder why 1 by 1 creatures started leaving then hopefully this video will reveal that to you. Seamus was legit sick, sly legit had to move to be with his mom, but the huge an sudden departure of kevin and now dex. And Alex not being a part of the group for a month or two because of issues he was having. This just seals the deal the creatures have no idea what they are doing anymore, have lost vision of who they were in the past, and who they wanted to become. Its a shame to see them fall, i'm glad Seamus and Slys solo channels havent changed since they left, and i kind of hope those 2 in partciular join back together as friends to do something. But regardless its about time someone spoke out about the creatures!!
The problem with the creatures is that it just was a group of friends in the beginning playing games, and the synergy was awesome. But it turned into a company that had to make money. Which led to pressure, stress, forced content, acting and irritations within the group which has cost them some vital members they really couldn't substitute. Aleks was a good addition, but the others were really average. Sp00n and Ze were vital for the synergy too, but were kinda exluded bc they didn't live there. Being forced to work together face to face everyday is a whole different story than playing games a couple of nights together via teamspeak.

I really like Creatures ever since four years ago. But I'm really sorry about your experience as a part of the group. I suppose they've made up their mind about how they'll be functioning as a company. I agree with you, they've done you wrong and I was really excited that more members will join to make more content for the hub. but MEMBERS, not some employees they've met couple weeks ago. that's why I was glad you've joined, because you have been friends with them for a long ass time. As I said, i am a big fan because of sentimental reasons, but I cannot act like I don't see the change in them. when they started as a company it wasn't so bad. the real charm of the Creatures was exactly the spontaneous friendly recordings, skype calls, and friendly gameplays with a lot of yelling and laughing. For the family friendly part, I was never really sure if they were trying to be family friendly or not. Like Jordan would try to act really family friendly and then all of a sudden Spence comes in saying "Tuck in your balls".
This reminds me of the time I moved in with two good friends of mine, I thought there were gonna be awesome parties, chill with the guys playing video games having a few beers. I was partially right though, the first month was good, we had a tight schedule waking up each other for work/school, food and bills werent a problem. But then suddenly everything got tense, arguing about how much we pay for food, and they would come into my room and make a mess of it when I wasnt there ( I had a TV in my room so it functioned as a living room). While in the mean time they wouldnt do the dishes and shit. So i moved out. We are still close friends, but im never moving in with a friend again.
I feel like through the past year and a half 2 years the creatures have completely changed they used to play a lot of games and now they don't anymore I feel like with James and Aleks doing cow chop now that they might leave the group soon too 2 years ago the group had a lot of people now it's down to 4 people
I hope you and James had/have a good friendship. He was always my favorite and considering he defended you with the panel thing, it makes me think he's actually one of the guys that's cool in person.

The time when Seamus wasn't really around is when it REALLY started going downhill. Even after Max and Sly left I felt they still could keep it going and it would be good, but they've never recovered after Seamus stopped appearing in videos. It also sucks though, because Seamus and James have always been my favorites, and who knows if they'll ever do anything together again (I hope they do)

This sucks. Dex took so much shit from the Creatures' "fans" for no reason and yet he was on the Hub every single day for them. The fact that the Hub is only once a week now probably speaks volumes...
I'm glad he got out, he definitely brought the entertainment factor to a lot of Creature videos and he also seemed to be the only one not acting for the camera, but if he's being treated as a second class citizen then it's not worth it.
Always been a big fan of the Creatures, but hearing this stuff is definitely disappointing.

Really appreciate the honesty. From the Creatures standpoint, it is important for the company not to have a bad rep. But, it's an asshole move to lecture you when, as you said, they do worse things. From this video we can see really clearly that The Creatures is a business/brand now, not that group of friends who want to have fun playing video games back then. After all these years, Chilled was right.
That "boss" mentality that mainly Jordan has brought the falling out for them imo. Specially that now The Creatures is a business and not a group. I will not be surprised if James and Aleks leaves the group right now. It seems that they are the only ones left that actually just wants to play games with friends, have fun, and entertain. If you've seen the content in Cow Chop and the "content" that's in the Hub, you'll see the difference.
I'll continue to support you even if you're not a Creature anymore. I find you really entertaining rather than 80% of what's left of The Creatures.

At first when Dex was first shown on the channel, I think it was the Red Faction videos, I wasn't used to him, but I didn't mind having him there. As for the others who despised him for literally no reason, it was fucking stupid. Then when he joined, to no one else's surprise, he grew on me. I enjoyed him and thought of him as a creature. As for Spencer and the interns, I just don't find them entertaining as Dex and the original creatures. it sucks that the business took a turn for the worst now. I'm glad Cow Chop is a thing, but as for the creaturehub, it Isn't the same. The constant "Cornered" and "HUB" leads to little to no variation between the videos. The "vlogs" aren't even fun to watch anymore. The Creatures have sadly taken a turn for the worst, leaving 4 "main creatures" remaining. This isn't the first time we heard about them doing something like this. I'm glad Dex could speak out, it means a lot more than just vaguely describing what happened. I don't think I will ever get back into watching the creaturehub, but Cow Chop has potential. Thank you Dex.

if you honestly watch their content and did not notice the decrease in quality, and really start to wonder why 1 by 1 creatures started leaving then hopefully this video will reveal that to you.
Seamus was legit sick, sly legit had to move to be with his mom, but the huge an sudden departure of kevin and now dex. And Alex not being a part of the group for a month or two because of issues he was having. This just seals the deal the creatures have no idea what they are doing anymore, have lost vision of who they were in the past, and who they wanted to become. Its a shame to see them fall, i'm glad Seamus and Slys solo channels havent changed since they left, and i kind of hope those 2 in partciular join back together as friends to do something. But regardless its about time someone spoke out about the creatures!!

The problem with the creatures is that it just was a group of friends in the beginning playing games, and the synergy was awesome. But it turned into a company that had to make money. Which led to pressure, stress, forced content, acting and irritations within the group which has cost them some vital members they really couldn't substitute. Aleks was a good addition, but the others were really average. Sp00n and Ze were vital for the synergy too, but were kinda exluded bc they didn't live there. Being forced to work together face to face everyday is a whole different story than playing games a couple of nights together via teamspeak.

Now with the money thing, I can understand that everyone has to earn money these days, and maybe putting their certain skills to use for profit is not so bad in their minds. But I think everything has been slowly turning more capitalist in nature than they're willing to admit. It's turning into just another corporate shell now.
And so much of the energy is gone, you know? I think most of it left when Sly, Seamus, and now Dex left the group. The Creatures are missing something big right now, and they're not going to find it in the safes of a bank. I really like Creatures ever since four years ago. But I'm really sorry about your experience as a part of the group. I suppose they've made up their mind about how they'll be functioning as a company. I agree with you, they've done you wrong and I was really excited that more members will join to make more content for the hub. but MEMBERS, not some employees they've met couple weeks ago. that's why I was glad you've joined, because you have been friends with them for a long ass time. As I said, i am a big fan because of sentimental reasons, but I cannot act like I don't see the change in them. when they started as a company it wasn't so bad. the real charm of the Creatures was exactly the spontaneous friendly recordings, skype calls, and friendly gameplays with a lot of yelling and laughing.
I'm really sorry to hear how they treated you, as a member. I'm sorry they didn't give you a chance. especially since you were their friend for years.
Go Dex, do your thing, don't take shit from anyone. obviously, they like being the party of four and I'm afraid that won't change. And I'll support them because I'm sure the Rooster Teeth thing will do them good, give them a different perspective and recognition.

For the family friendly part, I was never really sure if they were trying to be family friendly or not.
Like Jordan would try to act really family friendly and then all of a sudden Spence comes in saying "Tuck in your balls".
This reminds me of the time I moved in with two good friends of mine, I thought there were gonna be awesome parties, chill with the guys playing video games having a few beers. I was partially right though, the first month was good, we had a tight schedule waking up each other for work/school, food and bills werent a problem. But then suddenly everything got tense, arguing about how much we pay for food, and they would come into my room and make a mess of it when I wasnt there ( I had a TV in my room so it functioned as a living room). While in the mean time they wouldnt do the dishes and shit. So i moved out. We are still close friends, but im never moving in with a friend again.
I feel like through the past year and a half 2 years the creatures have completely changed they used to play a lot of games and now they don't anymore I feel like with James and Aleks doing cow chop now that they might leave the group soon too 2 years ago the group had a lot of people now it's down to 4 people

I hope you and James had/have a good friendship. He was always my favorite and considering he defended you with the panel thing, it makes me think he's actually one of the guys that's cool in person.
