I had the pleasure of meeting the man about 15 years ago when he was still schlepping around for 300-plus dates a year in his seventies...and aside from merely being one of the greatest and most influential artists of all time, he was truly just one of the just plain nicest people I have ever met, famous or not. Very humble, very considerate and kind, very genuine, and really seemed to enjoy meeting anyone, no mater who they were. If the blues ever needed an ambassador, he greatly exceeded the requisite qualifications. In the music buisness, you will hear of disgruntled band members who were sadly treated with disrespect and abuse by other famous artists, but you will never hear that from anyone who worked for B.B.KING !! He was a fine gentleman and a true professional and treated all of his people very well. He was a great artist and a good guy, and lived the life well- lived. RIP
