4 hours.... 4 hours of me smashing my head in the wall frustrated because of this. And all it took was the LR Esca, Roxy, and Yuri team, first try to work, The Roxy is from supports. Why can't this game has an easy mode button for story enjoyers.....

TY so much, i was able to do it with the second team 40k underpowered, just had to get the right skills at the right time, took 2 attempts. :D
Here's the team I've beaten it with just in case.
LR Escanor, DK Meli, Chaos Arthur, with the old Red Liz in the back for regen just in case, but Nanashi also works to manage the boss' ult gauge.
Turn 1 : Throw in Escanor's axe attack, Meli's single target, and if you got a second card from Escanor go for it, if you didn't use an Arthur card.
Turn 2 : Use Meli's aoe to break the stance (from the effect of attacking on 3 DK Meli stacks), Escanor's fireball to clear the buffs. If you can use another attack from Escanor or Meli (KEEP THE FIREBALLS), go for it, otherwise use an arthur card.
After that it's basically a rince and repeat.
The idea is to keep the boss at 2 Meli stacks at the end of every turn you see his stance card coming, and clearing his buffs as much as possible.
ALWAYS clear out the stance BEFORE removing the buffs, otherwise the counter will heal him a lot.
It can require a bit of RNG but overall it went way easier for me compared to other attempts with other teams, especially since I didn't have the new Escanor at the time.
W man's, save me the pain and suffering fr fr, also Note if you attack with escanor with his axe when cath is in melee mode it stille adds a seed of the end

All i wanna say is I LOVE YOU, IVE BEEN STUCK AT THIS STAGE FOR DAYS AND GAVE UP. At first i tried to just stance cancel him because i totaly forgot 3 seeds also stance cancels him and now i just beat it with the second team you used

I used Traitor meli ( his ult cancel buff and stances) , bloody lizz her stun cancel stances, and eternal sun escanor
Arthur on the back and cc food.

Not sure how your Meliodas removes stances, cause mine doesnt. Everytime i use that ranged attack, cath reflects my attack and kills me. 🤨
I don't have yuri, (any replacements?) Cant out CC as well

Best team I’ve used was DK zeldris, the one ultimate, you can use the new escánor. And DK Meli. With the Arthur they give you and CC food if you need it. Just gotta look at what attacks he’s dodging. And always keep two stacks of meli passive to take down stance.

Beat it with dk Meli, yuri zahard and new escanor, but it took a long time and luck with the cards
I’m using the team, I followed it card for card but in the first go, no matter if I use full range or full melee, the dodge effect will always be sword-

you have to hit the boss with an attack it evades in order for it to switch

@@theempire2805 same team mainly, i got green ultimate escanor + demon meli + ban
I was able to turn two this with chaos arthur, eternal sun escanor, blue roxy, and ragnarok ban in the back for attack-related stats. For turn one, keep restarting until you get two escanor single targets then use arthur's single target as the last card. For turn two, finish cath with an escanor or arthur single-target.
I just kept spamming retries with my team until it worked, it was a very similar team to this with the difference of having the new escanor instead of LR escanor and having Chaos Arthur instead of Excalibur Arthur lol

I had to throw light ban new escanor and DK meli and chaos Arthur in back with cc food and boom 7 attempts later
To out CC, try upgrade all cosmetic, use HP DF gear on link or Higher HP and also try choose Arthur not recommend (the first one) but the other player Arthur because it has a bit more stat. I manage out CC with food diff is like 150 lol
Its easy to out CC this boss HP/DEF + Full SA on all units with CC meal and you should have 350k+ CC pretty easily i had it even with Halloween Gowther bro😂 I didn't even have a single additional cosmetic on them except their free one that comes from affinity
I used light ban, demon king meli, ultimate escanor with the Arthur they loan us, and I didn't use the free revive...
I brute force my way into this one.

I started on UR Gowther banner. As a f2p and new player. I dont have DK meli. And not box cc to go first.
Guess ill just have to wait for the next super busted, meta recking, pay to win POS unit to drop and hope i get them before their nerfed into the ground so the next one can drop before i can beat this one
Dk meli all you need to win this one. Just keep two stacks from meli's passive to cancel stance. You can also use lr esca for buff removal because that cat has amplify skill which hits really hard.

My characters just get one shot
New escanor or Lr for damage, Roxy for extra escanor damage, summer margaret for stance cancel, and back unit Arthur. Then use the free continue. Second try with lucky cards.

i not have roxy and that girls in R.
but i beat with eternal escanor, demon king meliodas (era's end) and queen elisabeth briliant protector , full card attack. and full stat , and cc up dish . that make my cc up to 352.000
how can i get 20k atk? the max i can get in my chars is 15k

I used friend UR escanor, blue roxy, Yuri, Green arthur for the win.
The bad thing here is that I get different cards than you that backs me up every match

I used lr escanor for that fight it's still very easy incase some people don't have the new one yet
This has to easily be one of the most infuriating stages they have ever made. I beat it using Light Liz, Demon King Meli, New Escanor (that was slot in, thank you kind stranger) and ran green Arthur in the back. Was barely able to out cc and proc his revive first life and got lucky to 2 turn him the second life. God this boss is so stupid
Best team is Blue Roxy , New Escanor DK Meli LR Liz .. one turn . Use Roxy single target and Escanor attack 😊

I used sins with the new Escanor, which i got with my firts pull(got him full super awakening and level him up to lvl 100 on day one and have full gear from my green Escanor)....succeeded barely after 30 tries and just due to Escanor's death damage😂😂😂
