Not Too Glorious But Necessary
I think in one episode of mail call by R Lee Ermey they showed the cockpit
Same thought, however if I remember correctly, the camera was looking back and sideways at Gunny and the Pilot. I dont think they showed the panel.
@@boeing-lt4el yea i re watched that, it only showed the screens and stuff for a brief second
@@boeing-lt4el still the gunny actually got to ride the bomber that is just another level of fun.
whoa, pretty challenging when you sit in the drivers seat and all you see is control panels and the window is way up high.
Were those the launch codes on a post a note? ?
All zeros so you don't forget it.
Which button turns on the electro gravitic flight mode?
Does it take 2 to fly the B2? I’m seeing 2 control sticks right?
I wonder how much we were charged to use that comic sans font.
I love that patch its awesome
Pilots have to adjust the plane's flight path continuously during flight. Reason is no automatic pilot on the control system for this type of plane therefore it is unstable when flying
That's actually untrue. It's completely fly-by-wire, with the FCS making constant adjustments to the airfoil. You do realise its trimmed out on approach to a tanker?
I wish people from more vanquished nations, such as the US, would educate themselves before commenting.
@@Hiram1000 Which country is now better than the US ? Iran or Iraq ?
@@BinhNguyen-zn8ce in terms of what? Education? Both, actually.
In terms of child safety while attending school? Again, both.
In terms of statistics on obesity? Definitely both.
I'm waiting to hear what Iraq and Iran have anything to do with my comment?
@@Hiram1000 They just feel ashamed and hate you for exaggerating
Awesome!!!
Pretty much antique tech at this point, much more advanced now which is what we don’t get to see
wait. Comic sans on instruments???
Amazing.. best stealth in the world
Not surprising that it's a bit underwhelming.
If you want cutting edge cockpits you need to go air superiority/multi-role where integrating a single pilot with complex systems is key.
True like f35 and f22
@@dwizzleusa4202 F-22's cockpit is similarly outdated.
@@majorborngusfluunduch8694 Yea, most impressive I have seen is the F-35 (which makes sense lol). I got to sit in a simulator at the Lockheed plant and you could see SAM sites, as well as the range of the SAM's so you could theoretically just fly around them lol. I am sure that was just a scratch of the surface, but still pretty impressive seeing a whole map live right in front of your vs a bunch of small MFD's.
Why not have the throttles in the middle like on airliners and other bombers?
looks not so very sophisticated - aluminium and devices for big boys and highest prices. But the Idea is from WWII and that is the way it is designed - a strange version of a Horten. I construct flying wings as models and the specification of a wing can be very stable even without butterflaperons as rudder. However this idea is not so bad though. The CG is sometimes a problem. thx for the video
Yeah, I expected something like a spaceship or stuff like that.
Plot twist: this is actually the cabin of a 2005 Toyota Camry.
Multifunction displays on the panel, the same as on f/a 18e/f block 1
