This was one of the best episodes of Doctor who we've had so far, it was so tense the whole time and we really got a feel for the characterisation of the doctor and ruby
Really appreciate finding a reviewer who can say they didn't like a doctor who without it clearly just being rooted in conservativism and prejudice. (There seems to be a weird amount in the DW community? )I love hearing different respectful opinions and am looking forward to everything you'll bring to the table with this season!!🎉
I'm gonna say it... this was my favorite episode of the season, especially the final twist (no enemy, but everyone thinks there is) and this is the first episode where Ncuti "truly is" the doctor throughout. not just the companions Uber driver. I will disagree with the atmosphere of the scenery. It wasn't supposed to be an extravagant location, it was a complete wasteland with a mine on it. It was flattened, cheap, a WWI/II bombed out location. That's all it needed to be. (This is the one that is the opposite of the finale btw.. there's no _reason_ to save everyone, cause you needed that for the big twist with "V".). About the only subplot i didn't really care about was the female soldier and the technician love story that just kinda came out of nowhere (well not nowhere but nothing really needed)
I just found it a bit odd how the girl kept calling her dad, "Daddy" Dad or Father would have been better given how old she was.... Though saying that I remember the sitcom Bless This House where the daughter called her dad Daddy and she was about 20. And then the girl during a tense situation, suddenly sits down like nothing is happening and watches pictures of her past.... Didn't feel natural for the situation.
Love your videos. Saddened by your perception of what is a fact and what is an opinion. I hope you were joking. Even strongly held opinions based on a closely guarded belief - is still not a fact. The temperature is a fact, the weather being lovely or awful to you is and always will be an opinion - even if everyone you know agrees.

They really have reinvented Dr Who. It's quite a contrast from the perfect Capaldi Dr.

It wasn’t shot on a green screen it used a painted backdrop and volume technology akin to the Mandaloroan
Just watched the unleashed and saw 😂 just didn't look right to me at all
