Hi! Great video! Really useful. Kind of off-topic, but how do you usually do to sync audio (words specifically) to effects, movements, etc in the Fusion page? Simply by putting markers on your clips or you have some way of viewing the audio waveforms or something in the Fusion page?
Hi PeeJ~ I appreciate the tutorial! I have a little issue at 2:23 using 'Custom' keyframe. After I keyframed I don't see the blue line spline curved like yours, it's straight and the shake isn't working unless I go back to 'Duration' any thoughts?
If you have that choppy audio playback, compound clip the audio and it should fix it, if not, right click and hit cache audio effects, those things should help, if not re-import it from the media pool

I've keyframes the mask moving around the screen but want it to have camera shake. There doesn't seem to be any way to add a camera shake to a mask. I wonder if you would know how to go about it.
I mean if the camera Shake node doesn’t work on the mask you can try using the transform node with the modifier I used in the third method in this video (I think I called it the twitch shake), I know for sure that you can actually add transforms to masks and it should move them, in this case shake them, just apply the output of the mask to the MAIN INPUT of transform and then to your subject That is what you described to me what you want but I think you would actually want the result of the shake after the mask has been applied to the media which in that case you would add whatever shake after your media in of your photo, but try and see whatever works

Don’t you also want an audience of beginners as well as intermediate as well as experts? Doesn’t seem you’re interested. my best advice… Slow down. Explain each move. Otherwise, why bother. Unless you’re just showing off.

You need to keyframe from 0 to 1 on two different keyframes in order for the shake to work

I was trying for a tutorial on how to do the continuos shaking that isnt too aggresive but gives a more realism look to the background landscapes etc.
You can adjust the settings for your liking for your desired effect, either the Camera Shake node or the Modifier method would work the best
how to have mirrored edges when using the anim curves? I can't seem to get it right.
There are no mirrored edges in the anim curves controls, it should be on the main page of the transform node under “edge behavior”
