I had to rewatch this as I thought it was old. I have an Aibo, the last one before they said they were leaving the robotic industry. The only thing this did was move a bit faster. I can think of other tech gadgets to buy for $1700. The last model looked so much better.

120 mins of use but 180 mins of charge, In a world of quick charge shouldn’t that be quicker or at least in reverse.
yeah that really stood out that it takes LONGER to charge up then you can play with it. My laptop lasts for 6-8 hrs but only takes 2 hrs to charge. My phone lasts 1-2 days but only takes 2-3 hrs to charge. Whats up Sony....oh I forgot they always had issues with their camera batteries so it make sense. they need to partner with a good battery mfg!
Can I teach AIBO to bark? Like be quiet all day and start barking whenever I'm on the phone? And ... can he go fetch me stuff? Like songs from the Internet and play them to me? How does AIBO compare to his plant life counterparts ALEXA and Google Home?
Feldenkrais with Alfons with the original aibo you could play fetch (he would kick it) you could also teach it tricks like “talk” and all sorts of commands. Sort of like programming a computer to do certain tasks.

I had the first addition aibo. Just recently sold it on eBay. For sure aibo started my love of all things tech. For me now though...I prefer tech that serves a purpose. Aibo did start my want for a real dog, unfortunately she is gone now too. Love your channel keep up the good work!

So Sony will have a wifi enable camera in your house and look at you when you sleep. Lolz....
As a dog owner, this doesn't excite me even one bit and I can't feel connected to this robot, it just doesn't make any sense to me. Although I'm not saying it's bad or it shouldn't exist, no, just saying that it doesn't feel real for me, I can't even imagine this robot replacing a dog after seeing its reactions and behaviors.
That aibo means to me " Sony will watch ur home " . With his noise cam sony can livecast ur home. Privacy alert !!

How disappointing, you didn't even get release date on the A7S III. Aibo is Sony's big announcement, how far have they fallen, they make a $1700 chew toy for my real dog.

Not in the long run, a real dog needs food water attention visits to the vet yearly for shots or emergencies and much more. This dog actually saves you a lot if money. A real dog cost more throughout the years.
