commando kano is such an mkx character, the dumbass mix ups after b13 throat grab and armor after. if they know you’re gonna armor after and they block you command grab (with armor) if they think you’re gonna cmd grab they jump and you armor with up ball, if not you can just get your turn back. the kano ball cancel combos were sick as fuck tho
Covered in armor with very little consequences is very “mkx” lol. You could basically play commando like bane in justice but without the venom debuffs lol
It feels good seeing rewind playing with my main character. But man I love playing every variation of Kano in MKX. Cutthroat and Commando are very fun to play.
All 3 Kano variations were nasty! People got stuck on cutthroat cause the traditional mkx 50/50 but commando had tick throws 3 2hit armored moves mid command grabs and 17 percent parries. Then cybernetic had nasty zoning with plus frames and dammy with the anti air laser.
@@l750z_6 it’s more so getting used to Kano’s weird buttons, because nothing he has has a ton of range/advances, and his only decent mid/low buttons are either single hit or are mad slow, and he pretty much just lives and dies by B1 with that variation. And his bnb has really weird timing off the body slam meter burn. Yes he is simplistic but it lacks many things other characters generally have. Also this is coming from someone who picked him up after only playing Kotal who has all of the advancing buttons and an amazing jump punch, so maybe I’m biased from that point
