Just seen the completed replica in the Archive X Gallery, simply stunning… the amount and depth of detail in the paint is astonishing… something to aspire to 👍🏻
Finally !! I’ve been looking at your amazing models on FB wondering ‘how does he do this ?’ - now we are finding out. 😀. I’ve been building and painting shiny 1/24 cars for years but now want to start weathering them, and making them look more race/rally realistic. I’m hoping these techniques will cross over to my world.
Amazing work John and thanks for sharing, I was wondering do you happen to have any posts or vids on the equipment you are using or would you be able to share this info with us. I am just getting into air brushing and it would be great info to have. Thanks and cant wait to see more vids as you release them.
Harbor Freight has a compressor & airbrush combo from Avanti that's promoted as being a good set for beginners. Right now it runs $119.99, and they have a 20% off coupon that brings the price down to $95.44, but you have to hurry; that coupon expires TONIGHT at 11:59:59.
