Awesome! this is a great tutorial, more of these please 🙂 What would be useful is one of these format tutorials showing how to build a song/jam using the chord, arp, and harmonic modes
Thank you for doing the voice over, what a difference this makes with understanding what is being said. A good break down of this mode, its very much appreciated !!
nice video tnx!, please make more incl some BASIC ones for core workflow things like creating patterns/extend/duplicate/copy paste steps in the diff modes etc
Great tutorial, but the cv/gate assignments seem important yet they were glossed over. The reference video for them was using the sequencer in mono mode, so it didn’t exactly help. For example when the first track is sending a trigger, how does it determine which modular voice is being triggered if you have multiple CV/gates going to different modules?
Please let me know how to setup cv /gate assignments per track in matricial mode. If matricial can have up to 4 voices, one per track, how do I distinguish which voice is being sequenced in each track.
@@oxiinstruments ok thanks. But I guess i still don't understand how the parameters relate to the CV gate assignments. If I am sequencing say the velocity parameter on a track in Matricial, how do I know what CV output this is using? Or for instance, the parameters NOTE, INTERVAL, OCTAVE, and GLIDE all have to do with v/oct CV output. So how do I know which CV output say INTERVAL is being used as opposed to which CV output is using NOTE sequence. I guess its confusing because matricial has more parameters than the parameters available in the CV/ Gate assignment page.
16 steps for every single parameter. But the idea is that Since they are decoupled you can get very comples results, melodic ideas which repeat every hundreds of steps. You only have to change length, speed or direction.
I find the text that flashes on the screen throughout the video distracting. It'd be fine to include captions, but the way random phrases were emphasized for no real reason with flashy text made it more difficult to follow the information.
yea ... you gotta include it doing some basic stuff, maybe show to program a simple intended sequence.... also how is hooked up to the modular stuff, all i see is a cable going from the oxi back into the oxi. was this narration AI or something? EDIT... yea this kind of BS.... you do a really bad job of explain its basically functionalities first. you also explain nothing about the outputs and what inputs they are going into on the devices. Is this only for generative sequences or something? why would you not show an intentional sequences. This might be the most non-intuitive thing I have ever witnessed.... you can explain all this stuff, but build up from more basic stuff, explain how to actually make a simple series of notes maybe? Can I send the four tracks to sequence pitch on 4 different oscillators? would be nice to know stuff like that. the back panel is full of outs and you dont discuss or use any of them? im absolutely baffled by this. i see 4 tracks with lights moving, only one seems to be making noise, are these just running to show they could be applied to other synths? I also literally can barely here any of the parameters changes on THE SAME FARTY BASS SOUND almost THE ENTIRE TIME lol. I think the biggest issue is literally explain none of the intuitive interactiveness. I am well, well-versed with groovebox, drum machines, synths, and controllers and there are lights moving all over this thing and you dont explain which lights correspond to it. is only that left track the whole time? why even have the other tracks going if thats the case? MASSIVE "L" on this tutorial.
Maybe take a look at the owners manual first, and this might make more sense. I don't think this was meant to be a comprehensive guide, but instead is a look at a specific feature set. Maybe there are other videos that cover the basics? Good luck with your quest for knowledge.
@@oxiinstruments Maybe try using a local english native speaker to help you out. Personaly i prefer the spanish accent, it's human and closer to us, better than a robot that tries to emulate and is fake.
@@dualtrx ok, as you might imagine, this voice sounds good to us 😅. But more importantly, this solution has helped us solve a real issue we had with the voiceovers, which was preventing us from releasing more tutorials!

This is impressive generative genius at its finest…
Very good tutorial! Please go on like this with all new functions in 4.0

how can someone be this good with the product and the tutorial as well! kudos to your team, this is a dream sequencer!! Thank you!
Great new tutorial format, and amazing update as always.
I learned from this video. Thank you.
This video is info PACKED!
nice video tnx!, please make more incl some BASIC ones for core workflow things like creating patterns/extend/duplicate/copy paste steps in the diff modes etc
especially for the multi mode seq which seems to operate differently in many cases
This is awesome and amazing! Please get these devices in stores with payment plans. Zzounds and American Musical Supply etc
Great video - nicely explained!

Awesome sequencer
Awesome work and a really great, clear tutorial, thank you 🙏
fantastic!
AWESOME! more like this please :-)
Thanks i’m in love with my oxi!!!

You simply have to select the track number in the cv gate page for each CV or Gate output! 😊

Is Ithe Matriceal mode only beneficial for modular gear?
Not at all, in fact this mode provides the flexibility of modular or even more!
Thanks for the great video. AI generated voice is quite annoying but gets the point across.
Is this mode limited to 16-steps maximum?
16 steps for every single parameter. But the idea is that Since they are decoupled you can get very comples results, melodic ideas which repeat every hundreds of steps. You only have to change length, speed or direction.
this concept is pretty similar to Monome Ansible's Kria sequencer....

Ok, no fancy stuff in following tutorials. Easier 😊
@@oxiinstruments Thanks! Also I hope that didn't come across too negative! I'm very excited by the OXI One and just ordered one. Great work on this.
Appreciate the effort, but I found the fact that the enlarged view of the screen, did not update with your knob turning, to be confusing at first.

Man.. AI voice overs suck
Why! Our Spanish accent is not better. And this simplifies the process.

I disagree, much easier to understand. EXCELLENT tutorial!
likewise am ok with AI voiceover if it means we get more tutorials, the OXI is a deep and benefits a lot from these vids!
