I heard it said years back that cartoons were never really meant for children, and I suppose in some ways that makes sense, if you watch some of the classics like Tom & Jerry, Woody, Looney Tunes and of course, Garfield. Much of the humour would go over a child's head. I watched and loved all these as a child, and I did laugh. But I watch them now, at 42, and I really laugh at the stuff more than ever! Cartoons today, though, really are juvenile, perhaps even below that, all the way around...

Then I found that the Halo franchise and this cartoon have something in common XD I totally forgot that Gregg Berger did voicing for Odie and Orson. He's also Captain Cutter in Halo Wars and that brought me back to this.

Lorenzo Music was a writer for the Smothers Brothers in the 60s, so he knew his stand-up shit. You'll notice that Garfield starts some of the stand-up lines for the robot.
