I just finished this book: 'A woman visits a hacker', (original Dutch title: 'Komt een vrouw bij de hacker').
It is written by Dutch journalist Maria Genova. I this book, she tells how easy it is for a hacker to take over your identity.
Just as this video demonstrates.
She also mentioned this video. But still i wonder; how many people have learned from this, and secured their profile on social media?
That was just the icing on the cake, if they stopped before that team was brought in, they would have his bank info and a bunch of info about his personal life.

Saying "never give out your banking info over the phone" is ridiculous. I'm an insurance broker and I take peoples banking info over the phone daily. Just be smart about it people. Know who you are talking to.

je moet je facebook niet verwijderen, gewoon minder details en gegevens over je woonplaats erop zetten, bekende van je weten je wonen en daarmee uit, ookal is het SOCIAL media, het is veraderlijk, pas op met wie je je details deeld ;)
You don't need to delete your facebook, just watch out with who you share your information, people that DO know you from social life, like real friends, family or others know where you live so you don't need to put that on Facebook
