@Tomgirly, The distance depends on the projector. Approx 6-10ft for a lower priced projector. Look on Amazon, they do some really good low priced projectors. I recommend the apeman LC350 or LC650. They are discounted at the moment. For the projector screen, you can just use a frosted white shower curtain and you can buy the digital decorations from atmosfx website. I can’t wait to set mine up again in a few days! Great fun! 👍🏼
Keep in mind you still need a surround stereo system and link up the projector with the stereo. Holographic projections do not actually speak or produce sounds. I had a friend get upset because she didn't know this thinking the sound actually comes from the projector.

So, if I’m correct you buy a projector (obviously), then put a plastic sheet on the outside of your window? Initially I thought the projector was inside the house. Downloads the files and an outdoor speaker.
More or less i have now found a better material to use to project on white chifon. The audio is from indoors I have a frame which i can hang the speakers by the windows. I will be uploading a video in a few days to show how i do it.
You need a projector. I use a laptop to play the film and and something to go on the window either polythene sheet or chifon fabric. I Also connect the headphone output to a hifi stereo so i can pump the music outside the house.
I really want one of these... Imagine the terror I can strike into the children's hearts when they try stealing my goods. My revenge would be glorious!

For this video I dubbed the original sound off the video on to it. when I ran it on Halloween night I used a 2 way speaker system just behind the windows top right and left.

You can download the videos from atmosfear fx website and I just used a normal tv projector onto a plastic dust sheet.

Its a rear projection and I used a plastic sheet to project onto. The film is made using atmosfx clips
