Yes that's what i keep hearing yet the Government doesn't seem to be in any hurry to redo the contract. Its not like no other company would be interested.
They’ve barely started pumping oil out of Guyana. They’re going to increase production over the next few years. Guyana will be getting plenty of money. If the people don’t see any of it that’s on the govt, not ExxonMobil, Hess, or CNOOC.
It's to many companies involved, Exxon, Hess, and Chevron. Exxon is the Primary, at 80 something percent, Hess 30, and Chevron or Guyana 12.5 percent. Tell me how you end up, with 12.5% of your oil ? Then we have a merge coming with Exxon and Chevron ? Why are we drilling so much gas and energy ? Is there more lightning in the street ? How are you producing these energies to the people ? 45v, through pipes, solar ? What's going on, just doesn't make sense to me.
Lol he speaks like a prototypical o&g CEO... Everyone should be concerned about rising oil prices.. headcount at companies are at like a low.. technical staff shortage at XOM and the rest of the industry is so evident.. new hires are few and far between due to cyclicity of industry and lack of student interest in the sciences.. you can barely find enough geology grad students now adays .
Yhis job is being done by rappers, and sub contractots, companies are not being paid a fair share. Are you producing more, than your gaining. This project was planned when my daughter Janaire McCrae was stolen, a graduate from Urban Assembly for green careers in US. Just like my delegate book, along with union contracts stolen from a Gmail, it's 2 little boys that are also stolen, thanks to Phyllis Gager and Tony Grant, my union Organizer and landlord, they watched me build my kids, had my 3 yr old at the time reading, and decided to make them teach the world illegally, while they threw me to the street. No business grows the first year, so something is wrong, you just can't figure it out. Texas, Florida, and tennesse, don't forget Louisiana seems to be happy for your oil.
U.S. companies operating in Guyana should allocate half of their revenues to the Guyanese government, and after 50-75 years, full ownership of the enterprises should be transferred to the Government of Guyana. This needs to stop and would never happen in Europe or the Middle East.
Robbing the poor black & brown people of the World as usual. These slave masters continues to robbed minorities and poor third World countries for hundreds of years.
What the heck are you on about? In all countries, the US oil companies only get a fraction of oil revenues. Have you been getting your news from Tiktok?
And yet the people of Guyana do not seeing any of that revenue due to a lopsided contract and corruption in government.

I hope Guyana is seeing a lot of those profits going to the Guyana people.
That's up to the Guyanese government......
The guyanese government is corrupted. Guyana overall is a corrupted country
They are not. Lopsided contract
@@ashwinboodoosingh6314 That’s too bad. I’m surprised there’s not more outrage, but I guess since it’s fossil fuel there’s muted outrage.
Exon is enjoying the oil money, and the politicians, not the Guyanese people. Lots of people are living in poverty.
ExxonMobil will have to give guyana there fair share

Ask is inflation pushing up the price of oil or geopolitical risk
Clearly geopolitical risk, all you need to know to see that is natural gas prices.
For ExxonMobil not Guyana!
Off topic, what's tge story on Pemex?
Energy sector allocation 5% as a defensive play. Equal weight XOM, CVX, EOG, FANG, MPC, CTRA, KMI, OKE
With these kind of numbers Guyanese should not be paying taxes
Maybe a graduate of the Guyana Kabaka School of Economics?
Exxon is bleeding Guyana's resource and has become their 'cash cow'
