17:00 as a former trans kid, affirmation does not help at all. I wish at the time I was told there could be masculine women and feminine men rather than blind affirmation, and if anything, the blind affirmation leads to a higher suicide rate because these children have either permanently altered their bodies or have done so much to where they feel pressured to go through with it even if they changed their mind, personally it was the second for me. It's just so infuriating that these progressives talk about this and don't realize the damage they're doing, while also silencing detransitioners like myself to fit their narrative, absolutely disgusting.

You should contact Matt Walsh here on YT and Blaire White. Matt has detransitioners on his channel and gives them a platform to be heard, not silenced as usual. Blaire is transgender but refuses to stand for children to be indoctrinated and fights for children and women rights and she's against children being put on hormones or hormone blockers. She's MtF but refuses to ignore biology and she is absolutely female presenting but won't get bottom surgery. She gives detransitioners a platform to have a voice and her good friend is the founder of gays against groomers. I'm lesbian and a conservative so I'm not part of what the LGBT "community" has become. I refuse to be apart of a group pushing for the mutilation of children. You shouldn't have been in a position to feel you had to go through with transitioning and I hate that you made life altering decisions about your body and mind before all other alternatives were exhausted. I don't deny that body dismorphia is real and exists, but, I do believe that it's a mental health issue people are born with and a rare issue at that, not the fad it has become among our youth as a way to be different and receive attention. Children have no concept on adult decisions, life long decisions that they can't just forget or change once surgical and medical intervention has occurred. The numbers speak for themselve and you're just 1 of 79% of individuals who have transitioned and regret that they transitioned but their lives will never be easy or the what could have been if given time and patience. Your voice is important and needed to help others understand the importance of taking their time and exhaust all options before choosing surgical procedures that can't be reversed. I commend your bravery and strength and I pray you never think about taking your life because your hear for a reason and you have the power to fight against the ideologies that created your regrettable decisions.

The “could have been you” also applies to modern political divisions. I know if I grew up in a hyper liberal family, I probably also would have been brainwashed, my parents probably would have transitioned me as a child because I was a huge tomboy. I feel incredibly lucky to have grown up in a conservative Catholic household where that did not happen and where the basis of my values were formed. I think we all need that humility. People who were on one side and the shifted understand better the “it could have been me” but I think more people need to have that in mind when they talk with people on the opposite side. If you were raised differently, had different experiences, had different information, didn’t go through whatever it was that helped you establish your moral and political compass, you very well could have been on that other side. That doesn’t mean we excuse their evil when evil is being done (like abortion and child mutilation and grooming), but that does mean that when dealing with individuals, we see the humanity in each. It is humbling to us and also if you speak to the person and not the caricature in your mind they represent, you are more likely to be able to reach them. Just a thought.

Racism of the past created a cycle. You have to start with criminal justice. Change state laws to stop considering the sale of drugs a violent crime. Whites do just as much drugs as blacks and sale them also but the state penitentiaries are overly populated with black drug offenders. Stop over sentencing black first time offenders. All of this started with the war on drugs and still goes on today. Republican and Dem states. worse in Republican states though. especially the south. Also there is no living wage. you can work 40 hours a week and still barely be able to take care of yourself let alone a wife and kid.
All of this created a cycle. When a young black kid in the inner city walks out his door, what role models do he sees. He's broke, clothes are trash, and barely eating. He's sees the only people with anything are the criminals. So that's what he does.
People don't understand what it's like especially for a young black male.
Just an example. young white male parents gets divorced he starts acting out getting in trouble, on drugs and society will say he just needs help, some therapy or something.
Black children in the hood go through more trauma in a year than most people will ever see, but people expect them to be normal, to overcome a whole childhood of f***ed up things. Some do make it out🤷 statistically speaking it can't be 100%. then people point to that person and see if he can everyone can. Not understanding just how lucky that person was.
Look at the Criminal justice system as a start for fixing racial problems and helping black people. Understand that most are a product of their environment. An environment that was created by racism.
There's an old music video that sorta explains what I'm talking about. "When I Grow Up" artist Yellopain. it might help you understand better

I was a college freshman back in 2015 and I was genuinely surprised by how many of my peers had no idea how government works, and many of them didn't even know what a democracy is. I had jury duty about a year and a half ago, and I was the ONLY member below the age of 35 because a lot of young people aren't even registered to vote. I think the vast majority of young American adults are either uninterested or completely brainwashed about politics. Nobody who doesn't care, or is incapable of independent thought, should be voting.

you made a great point about how black immigrants are more likely to be successful or in higher education.. it's because almost every African parent values education more than anything else. As an african immigrant myself, I'd say if you asked my parents to choose between me getting a high paying job with no education vs. a high paying job with an education, they would choose the latter no matter what. On the other hand, a lot of African American families are broken which is why there is not as much emphasis on education as there is as anything else. That's the biggest issue here.

Anti-police sentiment has also been on the rise, such that police themselves also get killed over a routine traffic stop.
And let's not forget the near daily horrors they have to witness, that people perpetrate on each other.
With all that, is it really any wonder if cops are under high tension even just for traffic stops?

Something I think the conservative side needs to work on (including myself) is nitpicking at the left's opinions just because it "sounds lefty". We are stereotyped as boring, controlling, lifeless people, and there are actually a lot of times where that is true. We start injecting our personal preferences into the framework and advertising of "our side" and it's getting old. If a girl doesn't want to shave or wear a bra, get over it. If a guy wants to paint his nails and wear makeup, who cares? If someone wants blue hair and thirty body piercings, how could possibly actually effect you? We need to let go of our preferred style of person and start getting to the root of the matter. Throwing around conservative buzzwords and promoting the style of the average forty-year- old in Appalachia (I live in Tennessee so don't come at me) is not what our argument should be riding on. We should be holding up truth and freedom and keeping the preferences out of politics.
    -a young conservative girl.

Quite a lot of the rich black americans in our country now benefited from their ancestors who owned slaves. And yes, there were many blacks who owned slaves too and it's been proven that many of the black slave owners were much more abusive than white slave owners. No reparations should not be paid. Welfare has been used as a form of reparations - it hasn't worked.

I got a bad taste in my mouth for voting twice.
1st was Bush Sr and his no new taxes.
Then my 1st opportunity to vote in state elections was (wa) the governor race.
Christine Gregior (sic) vs Dino Rossi.
It was close and had 3 recounts.
The 1st 2 Rossi (rep) won the 3rd time Gregoire (dem)won. They didn't do another one.
Wa is and has been for decades a Dem state.
Most races here are lopsided and when they are close the abouve thing happens.
I'm independent and don't belive in the party system. I respect Rep more then dem but both irritate the hell out of me beacuse they have to walk a fine line or they get kicked out.
If our vote carried the ability to force our reps to adhear to what they said they would do, I would vote again.

Black people who feel they should be reparations for the past slavery in America, need to go back to the source of the slavery. First you need to identify the country within the continent of Africa that you feel attacked, imprisoned, enslaved and then sold your ancestors to other people who brought you to be slaves for them in North America, as well as other places. Secondly, you need to tell the people of that country(s) that they need to pay you reparations because of what you feel their ancestors did to your ancestors. Thirdly, you must be able to run very fast, as those people will most likely be chasing you down the street, if they don't just fall out of their seats laughing at you.

Scientists have found that Native American populations - from Canada to the southern tip of Chile - arose from at least three migrations, with the majority descended entirely from a single group of First American migrants that crossed over through Beringia, a land bridge between Asia and America that existed during the ice ages, more than 15,000 years ago.

so I am from Europe....but I don't get the idea that the blacks in America are set back because of slavery..(of course the slaves suffered a lot and this was a very unjust and cruel system - set up also by the ones how sold them to the slavetraders - this were black people in Africa)..because if they had stayed in Africa - their progeny would be in Africa now......and is there one African country where you can live free and prosper today?
Also the wealth in Europe(and I guess everywhere else in the world) was built on a kind of slavery - because there was a bondage system (it was called "Leibeigenschaft" which literals means "owning the body") nobody except noblesse could own land, the normal people just had to work on this land and give everything to the owner......they were not "free" to do anything else without consent of the land owner. As far as I know this people were beaten too, because there was no system of justice that advocated for them.
Demokraty and human rights were invented by white people btw and are not that common in African or asien countries.......

I appreciate what Taylor said around the 24 min mark about how if you lived in the 1800’s & your family owned slaves, you would have been ok with it just as a matter of course. That’s how things were then.
I appreciate this because I AM a descendant of slave owners not even that far back; my great grandparents were the last slave owners in our family. My grandmother grew up on the family plantation in Virginia, she had a Debutant Ball at 16, she was a member of the D.A.R., I even remember dusting her intricate wood furniture as a child & learning that it was handmade by our slaves. As a very young child, I had no feelings about this old Southern heritage, but as I grew up in CA during the 2000’s & went to liberal schools, I learned what White Guilt was & that I should be ashamed of my heritage.
Soon that became engrained in me & the more I grew into a “good liberal”, the more self-hatred I developed on that subject. Only recently in my 30’s have I left the Left, as well as my white guilt & a slew of other things I was supposed to be ashamed of as a straight, monogamous, white woman on the Far Left. The only thing I had going for me was being a woman. 😅
So anyway, thanks for saying that, Taylor. It’s absolutely true. Had I been alive in my family at that time, I would have had my own black Nan to care for me like my grandmother did & wouldn’t have thought twice about it. I can’t fault myself for that anymore, it’s unnecessarily damaging.

In Australia, we are legally compelled to vote. If we don’t vote, we get a fine, if we don’t pay the fine…we lose our driver’s license which affects a lot of our jobs. This results is people voting with lots of resentment, and they just don’t care.
So they will often vote for a party with a funny name e.g ‘The Pirate Party’ or ‘The Sex Party’ or they will just scribble on the form, or mark it 1-4 for ‘whatever’ purposes to get it over with…resulting in a ‘donkey vote’ which means they are by default contributing their vote to a main party that may not share the values they would agree with. Because it’s forced.
Australia always follows The USA’s lead with everything from fashion to ‘gay marriage’ being legalised. What you do, we do not long after. But we haven’t followed your voting system, I wish we would. It would be a more accurate representation of what we want politically.
What are your thoughts on this?

Bro, this people are insane. Honestly, I agree a 100% with Amala: just because their country did bad things in the past, doesn’t mean you should hate it (and I say “their country” because I’m not American), and I also wish good luck to those people to try and find a country that hasn’t done anything wrong in the entire existence. They’ll need it.
Also, I got so infuriated with reason number three of why you shouldn’t celebrate America because it said “U.S. killed 300,000 Vietnamese people in the Vietnam War.” This is mostly because #1: I made an exposition about this subject for my history class, and I can assure you that most of those people whom the U.S. killed were Vietnamese from South Vietnam, AKA the half that supported the communists during the war, AKA THE FREAKING ENEMY. #2: Do they seriously don’t know how a war works? The U.S. HAD to kill those people because they were the FREAKING ENEMY. I hate when people are so misinformed and then go around spreading their wrong information. 🙄🙄🙄

I went to that page on IG because I saw something about hula, (I am part Hawaiian). The comments on that hula post are sickening. Those people are Progressive? supposed to be the party of love and acceptance? There were a few comments of people telling Hawaiians to be grateful for the US and to shut up when people disrespect our culture. wow. Those people do not know Hawaiian history at all, because if they did, they would find out how, (in 1893), US politicians arrested the Hawaiian Queen and took over her government. But a lot of the oppression for Hawaiians started in 1810, when the missionaries arrived and immediately tore down the 'savage' culture Hawaiians had cultivated for many centuries.
Ancient Hawaiians did not read or write, they memorized everything and incorporated all their history and rituals into chant and hula. There was a comment that hula was made for political reasons. Ugh, I just cannot explain to these people how complicated Hawaiian culture and language is. Yes, ancient Hawaiians were warring with other Hawaiians and there was ancient chants and hula for war. But hula is not only about that, it is about beauty, expression, love and knowledge. I will not bother to explain to people like them though, because they don't care, they just want to push their own idea and thoughts as truth. I will enjoy my Hawaiian culture and pretend these ignorant, hateful people do not exist.
