ok so a few things. age restriction and strike are 2 DIFFERENT things. age restriction is an action taken on a single video because it may not be suitable for minors, while a strike is an action taken against your entire channel for breaking ToS. Then, ToS is setup like the laws of a country/government or even like any job corporation. meaning that there are guidelines for what actions will be taken depending on the nature of the offence, if it's habitual, and many other factors. Age Restriction is NOT a violation at all, you lose monetization, but thats because the advertisers lose a HUGE market so they pay a lot less to youtube for them to place ads those videos. if im not mistaken, even in Cory's situation, he had NEVER had a strike. his entire situation STARTED because of an age restriction on a video that noone else was restricted for, and after digging and prodding, he ended up with a strike from a video that was posted months or maybe even a year before the age restricted video. I’m neurodivergent and have vivid sometimes lucid dreams and so when I fall asleep I need to listen to comforting things. Berleezy playing the goose game and playing Minecraft with hixen and giggling is literally saved in my library and is something I put on right before bed and play all night. When I went to go to sleep and they weren’t there I was so so so so sad. Even with this being resolved, I feel like UA-cam still isn't the platform anymore. If this Is how they want to treat their content creators there needs to be a back-up plan to move your content elsewhere. UA-cam sucks, all they have to do is delist the video with a email warning on the video to edit or delete it. Especially with a time stamp so you can know exactly where you got in trouble for. If you reupload the same video with no edits, then I can see a strike or whatever, but if you edit and still get in trouble, then send another email warning with time stamps to edit your video, but to delete someone’s channel without a warning is insane. That’s what happened to my old reaction channel without warning. And I couldn’t get it back. 😡 UA-cam really needs to get their communication skills in order. ASAP!

I’m neurodivergent and have vivid sometimes lucid dreams and so when I fall asleep I need to listen to comforting things. Berleezy playing the goose game and playing Minecraft with hixen and giggling is literally saved in my library and is something I put on right before bed and play all night. When I went to go to sleep and they weren’t there I was so so so so sad. I’m glad he got his channel back and I know UA-cam is such a big company but I hope they get their bs straight or another platform gets created for people like Cory and Berlin because they deserve more. 💕 so glad he’s back.

Even with this being resolved, I feel like UA-cam still isn't the platform anymore. If this Is how they want to treat their content creators there needs to be a back-up plan to move your content elsewhere. UA-cam is very hypocritical and "selective" with who they enforce things with. They deserve to lose people to another platform.

UA-cam sucks, all they have to do is delist the video with a email warning on the video to edit or delete it. Especially with a time stamp so you can know exactly where you got in trouble for. If you reupload the same video with no edits, then I can see a strike or whatever, but if you edit and still get in trouble, then send another email warning with time stamps to edit your video, but to delete someone’s channel without a warning is insane. That’s what happened to my old reaction channel without warning. And I couldn’t get it back. 😡
