Man for the past 6 years I’ve been watching it’s been crazy seeing not only your music preferences evolve over the years, but also seeing how you’ve made changes for the better in your life. I’m so happy you’re happy man ❤
I think Tyler the Creator should get his flowers while he’s still alive and creating music. Last 3 albums have been top tier, and pretty sure the upcoming one will be too… I’m excited for his music after having gone through a 6 year absence of his music lol he lost me after Wolf, but this year I went back and listened to the past 3 and damn, the man has matured in music
Man I feel the same way, new projects are not hitting on me anymore. I don't know why, maybe the quality of these albums, maybe the aesthethic of the albums are no longer interesting. I've been listening to 2012-2017 Drake this whole year, but I don't even want to listen to FATD. It''s sad a certain point, remember 2018, 2017, 2016 and before those years... it was definitely hip hop's best years in my opinion. Glad to see you're doing well bro btw!
I’m soo happy that your happy been supporting for 5 years since 2018 funny enough when our boy Abel dropped that MDM Ep and been here ever since. And same shoutout to R and B I prefer it over hip hop atm it is my second favorite genre behind Rock.
Glad you had a good time in my country. Can't wait to see your vlog. This year I rediscovered Jazz music, and it's amazing. Kassa Overall, Henry Wu, Kamaal Williams they are all GOOD and you won't regret. Also Hip hop artist, I found the rapper JEV, He's absolutely killing it.
I agree so much especially with Drake. I had to turn his new album off especially with him talking about someone shooting someone in daylight.. like wtf you aren't trying to beat the allegations lol + we are over him trying to act tough when we know he isn't
My boy went off the grid to the mountains in Japan, was wondering what happened to you 🤣 lol glad to see you back fam and can’t wait to see your vlog!!
I do agree quite a bit about what you said about hip hop like at least in the mainstream it's just kinda the same thing which is why recently I've been listening to more underground ecuadorian hip hop. Not only is it my culture so I relate more but also has themes about protests and the state of the country. Even if you don't know spanish dillion I still recommend songs like Mi Pana by Mateo Kingman like that song slaps and just makes you wanna dance. Guanaco and los nin are also great hip hop artists that blend traditional ecuadorian sounds with hip hop which I absolutely love! But besides that I'm glad your back Dillion excited to see the vlog of your trip😁 Also here are my top albums so far: 1. Ishkay Llakta by Los Nin 2. Since I Have A Lover by 6lack 3. Cordillera by Jazz The Roots 4. Raven by Kelela 5. Utopia by Travis Scott Imo compared to other years it has been kinda weak like these albums are rly great but I can't find much else that grabs me. Can't wait for the new 070 Shake album tho that's gonna be an experience
