Awesome. Thanks for the tour Aimee and Victor. I did visit the Shibuya Parco store. I'm not really a Pokemon guy, but I did want to see it and experience it. Happy that fans have these options to load up on goodies.
Went to the centers at Sunshine City and Parco last time I was in Tokyo ... not because I am a fan of Pokémon but because a friend is and I wanted to get him something. Parco does have other good shop in shops as well as Pokémon and Nintendo stores. Also why do I have a mental image of @frameoftravel probably spending a great deal of time studying that game timeline and making notes for his collection
Glad to hear you find them helpful! We've got a good amount of info over on our Japan Cheapo website (japancheapo.com/) about Kyoto and Osaka but yes, hopefully in the future some videos will be coming as well!
Love the video. We are headed to Japan in late spring for the first time with our son who will be 12 by then. He is a huge pokemon fan and got me into it. I thought it was cute when I was younger but now as a middle aged mom I have no shame to say I love pokemon. I just wonder though, do Japanese teens and adults like pokemon or is it seen as more for smaller kids?
Haha love that you're into Pokemon now too! From our experience, there's a lot of adult Pokemon fans, both Japanese and non-Japanese alike. Hope you have a wonderful trip in spring!
@CaptainPikeachu yeah. I brought it with me. Visited 5 pokecenters, forgot to bring my switch with me to 3 of 5 Pokecenters. I, also, brought my Steam Deck with me, so that's why I didn't wanna put my switch in my luggage.
Best to visit on weekdays.... my son and I visited 5 centers in October 2023 (Mega, Skytree, DX, Yokohama, Shibuya)!
Wow nice! You guys hit up so many! Did you have a favourite?
Can u adopt me I’m 30 year old male
@@tokyocheapo they need to get pokémon centers in Fredericton 😢
That birthday redeem stuff is hella cool

日本人の自分が見ても分かり易く、上手に編集されていて関心します。素晴らしい!!
ありがとうございます!😊
Tokyo Station Captain Pikachu in a train uniform is the best exclusive IMHO.

Helpful videos. Been watching your videos for 5 hours now lol. Really helped me building my Itinerary but noticed you don't have Kyoto and Osaka yet.

Very informative!! Always a delight seeing Victor in videos even if it was mostly just his voice ;D
Definitely gotta visit the one in Nihonbashi!
FYI the pokemon store in tokyo station has an exclusive station master Pikachu
Its sad we don't have stores like this in America i live near Nintendo nyc and its no where as good as this as far as merchandise
A video with Victor? Hell yeah.
Great video! Pokemon cafe is very hard to book, it either shows booked or not available for booking yet. I have checked quite a few times.
your channel is amazing, deserves a lot more subs!
Thank you so much!

They need pokémon centers in Canada specifically I'm counting on Moncton to get some
I had no idea there was more than one, thought the one in ikebukaro was it… or are the others (mostly) new(ish)? Post 2018/19?
A few of them are newish like the Shibuya store opening in 2019 and the new Nihonbashi location in 2018 😊
oh man I wish I knew about the birthday redeem when I was in skytree XD
Yay, Victor 🎉
They recently opened a new store in Tokyo Bay.
I'm just looking for Snorlax plushie toy. 😭😭 I wanna buy one.
Victor 😍
Do you need a reservation to buy the Pokémon Café merch? Or that store is separated from the restaurant?
I’m getting a ray quaza plush at the end of August 2024
Kabuki pikachu !!!! I got mine yesterday!!!!
1:59 owl type pokemon 💀
Goes like awooooooooooooooooooo lol 😂
Is there a need for reservations or are all the stores walk-in?
They are all walk-in's 😊 Although, on particularly busy days, they may limit the number of people in the store at one time.
@@tokyocheapo thank you!
Do i need to bring my switch? Im coming all the way from the US and don't wanna lug my switch just for a code... 😢
To be fair, the switch is not that hard to carry around or take up much space, I mean, just put it in a backup or purse or something.
@CaptainPikeachu yeah. I brought it with me. Visited 5 pokecenters, forgot to bring my switch with me to 3 of 5 Pokecenters. I, also, brought my Steam Deck with me, so that's why I didn't wanna put my switch in my luggage.
If only major cities in the US had Pokémon Centers and Gyms, so fans could find rare Pokémon and obtain badges.
1:35 l like Pokémon
I can't seem to find that charizard plush at 5:20 on their website, can anyone help me out plz? ty!
OHH I JAPENSE I RE PRINT TO KEEP MAKING MONEY 😂😂😂
