DRF hopefully realizes this conference in football is trash, and that we only have won 2 conference games.. How pathetic. Hope she pulls the plug on this staff
In summary, it was a much needed win against a mediocre team. The program should rightfully be celebrating not losing, but not who they won against. The win to me is neither here nor there and doesn't change the overall body of of work. Too little too late, IMHO. I would guess perhaps a decision has already been made and will be announced at the end of season. Kind of hard to live game by game at this point.
It's good to see the kids happy about the win but it's also a reflection on why our program won't ever be taken seriously. I know we are not Alabama but if Nick Saban saw his team celebrating after a win vs Vanderbilt the way our team was celebrating, he would have them running sprints the whole practice the next day. If we want to be taken seriously, we need to start acting serious. Celebrate a Rose Bowl, not a win vs a bad Houston team...
We aren't pretending like we will be Alabama anytime soon. We are allowed to celebrate a game like this. Football is an emotional game. Let the kids feed off that and bring it into the next game. I don't have a problem with them celebrating
@@aztucsonman77 I get that stance however expectations factor in as well. If this was that 2nd year under Jedd where we ended 5-7 with a win over ASu, then yes, go ahead and celebrate for the win and progress that the program is showing. But 85 percent of this team was from last years Alamo bowl win, so I know they know what championship caliber football is and the standards they should be striving for.
Remind me how many *wins* Fisch had his first season with the Wildcats. I recall they lost to NAU that year. And how many *wins* did Fisch have his second season with the Wildcats? Still less than Coach Brennan. The injuries this season weren’t only on the defensive side of the ball. Please support the Arizona Wildcats and quit hating on Coach Brennan!
Dude, you must be blind. This clown of a head coach inherited a team with potential NFL talent that any other coach would salivate over. Fisch, on the other hand basically inherited a high school team completely void of any talent. Quit making these dumb comparisons. The criticism of BB is valid and needs to continue until he gives us reasons otherwise.
if it's not about the players, then why bring up the celebrating only to talk down about it? it's called rhetoric, mike. if you're rhetorical style is to double speak and sling shit, more specifically, sling shit at the the coaching staff, then you're invariably slinging shit at the players and the loyalty of those who stayed. the staff deserves criticism and the hot seat, and you need to learn how to convey that better with out throwing shit like it's TMZ. unfortunately, that damage has already been done and the feces has stunk up the place.
You can make all the comments you want, but it's all about money no matter what venom you want to spit at its current athletic situations, but it's what we have to live with because of all the bad decisions the athletic department has left us with . Our money supports are being burned out, and it's time for a rest to spend any more. Remember when Dean Harvel said we need to support educational efforts, not athletic spending.

Hey Mike did you see what Dampier and the Lobos did to #19 WSU? Maybe AZ should try to bring him home.
Bring Bronco Mendenhall with him

please defend Brennan without comparing him to Fisch. Fisch led one of the greatest college team coaching turnarounds I have ever seen.
fisch teams showed progress every year. His first year without any talent was competitive, they never got blown out. This coach is a clown
1st season had not even junior college talent at qb position and was still competitive not getting blown out
You really need to stop the comparisons with Fisch. It’s not even close to the same situation.
We can win our last 2 and go to a bowl game this season could be very positive
Hardly anyone in the stands. Support the team.
We ain't getting back track with Rich Rod.
I don't like a rich rod either. We are in the pass 1st pro style shotgun spread offense ara. Hire a modern offensive mind imo

Things will turn around hang in there! Go cats go!!!
We can make it yo bowl game or ruin ASU big 12 title chances. Season is a succesa if we do 1 of thise 2 things

Staying the course with Brant is essential for the U of A to succeed. The future is bright. Cheer up wimps!
