I kept reading about Ruby Orchid not having any lasting power, and I got a sample and wore it yesterday and I could still smell it after around 4-5 hours, and I could still smell it on my skin at the 12 hour point, not projecting but definitely a beautiful skin scent. Went to bed and could smell it on my wrists. I guess my body chemistry really likes it 😂

I absolutely adore Ruby Orchid, my new favorite layering perfume. I wear It by itself sometimes but mostly layer it and it's beautiful. I never liked the OG flowerbomb or any of them really.. ruby orchid is definitely the fb for me. Love the feminine feathery softness.
@@rachelalex1586 it's definitely not a power house projector or beast mode.. but when I layer it over Si fiori it's moderate, lasts about 6-7 hours on me. Stays at a soft purr the entire time. It pairs really pretty with Pink chiffon b&bw as well.
Update- apparently it definitely IS a powerhouse and projector and lasts a solid 14 + hours if you spray heavy like I do lol. Long story short I found out I was nose blind to it and nearly choked myself out several hours after application when I removed my mask also a man 3 or 4 doors down came out of the hall straight towards me yelling omg omg what smells so good omg what is that. I was in shock. Ruby Orchid is 10/10 💯 forreal. Longevity and projection 10 out of 10

But if you can't stand anything about flowerbomb u might not like ruby orchid bc it has a little bit of flowerbomb in it (but no patchouli) It smells nothing like Bonbon but it's still sweet with a fuzzy feathery fluffy texture to the smell if that makes sense.

I used to use the Bonbon body cream and powder and they discontinued it, the smell was so long lasting. Viktor & Rolf will forever be my favourite perfume brand. Cannot wait to buy the Ruby orchid today, I’d love to try the nectar version 💕

Big flowerbomb fan I use it as my signature fragrance and tried a sample of Nectar today and I love it! Was looking for a new scent for summer and was thinking of doing a blind buy of Burberry Her Elixir but definitely sticking with nectar now
My favorite in the line has been, regrettably, discontinued- Salty Flower. It was my favorite summertime fragrance. This new one sounds great though so I think I'll give it a try. Awesome review as always.
I love Ruby Orchid, I have the original Flowerbomb and I love it but it's so strong I find it difficult to wear. Ruby Orchid is like a softer version, it's smells really really similar to the original on me, but without the in your face strong patchouli, and still has great lasting power, just perfect in my opinion 😊. It doesn't come off fruity on me either which is great because I'm not a fan of fruity perfumes

Looking up what the Tonka bean is and what it's used for. Tonka bean can Amp up the smell of vanilla in the flower bomb nectar. I love the flower bomb nectar.
Flowerbomb dew is my favourite 😅 lasts forever on me and when I had cards of the original and dew I could smell dew more as soon as I walked in the room they were in! And a bonus it doesn't have patchouli lol. Deffo need to try midnight
I was really expecting a heavy rose note from Ruby Orchid…not sure why. Maybe the color of the bottle made me think of roses? Either way, it’s lovely- on my skin the vanilla is definitely the main player!

First time I smelled it I maybe found it too sweet but I really like it second time around. I now face the dilemma of whether to add nectar or bonbon. Bonbon is not my thing after all I think. Something about it that doesn’t wow me and captivates me.

My best friend has the original Flowerbomb and she made me smell it. I think it smelled okay but it didn't smell strong for me, which was weird. Or perhaps I couldn't remember how it smelled like at all. 😅

I love Ruby Orchid, it is absolutely soft and genuinely very beautiful! I just wish I knew what ti layer it with for longevity - I’m a keeper though, it is not an inexpensive smell like many fruity scents,
I really wish I liked this line. Flowerbomb and Nectar are too strong. Midnight doesn’t last, apparently, despite how much I love the smell. I could barely smell Ruby Orchid.
midnight is my least favorite lol it's a little too powdery/bitter for me. my fav is dew which i bought a 100ml of and dont regret. it's a skin scent for sure but the smoothness and combination always makes me want to smell it again. when i catch a whiff of dew, i'm always impressed by how good it smells lol

It smells good on paper and the bottle but I dont know, it just doesnt agree with my skin. The same with Flowerbomb Midnight. But Nectar is another story and that is why I decided to buy that. The original flower bomb is my favorite!!! It is strong, sexy , feminine for a women with long black hair that likes leather and a business women.😁 It has been my late fall/winter signature for years . For spring and summer l have another signature by Express but recently I fell in love with Marc Jacob Eau de intense for spring and summer. I just ordered the black bottle and l am getting 3 candles with it. I have all the perfumes from Victor Rolf except the black bottle.l dislike the Ruby Orchid is extremely sweet for my taste and the nectar feels toxic like they drop a bomb full of sugar in it . 😂🤦 The caramel is delicious and perfect for fall and winter bonfires. I got the little bottle.

How do you make perfume last long on you? I have those that are reputed to be long lasting like chloe, parfums de marly cassili, etc and the longest that they last on me would be around 3 hours. I spray on the neck area and pulse points on the arms or maybe a spray or 2 on clothes if not on the arms.
I heard that if you spray on your neck, you get used to the smell quicker, because its around your nose much more, so could be that it lasts but you have become blind to it. Try spraying only on your wrist.
I don't like OG flowerbomb at all. Ruby and dew give me the same vibe, one with vanilla drydown and the other with powdery base. I like them. Nectar is the queen of the whole range.
Listen for a second ladies. I almost purchased Ruby Orchid because it smells SO GOOD! If it was a little less expensive I would have it just in case a lady comes over and wants to freshen up. 😊😊😊

Love Flowerbomb Midnight. I wore it on my wedding day. I tested Ruby Nectar in the store and while it was nice, it wasn’t a must buy for me.

I love flower bomb. I wish it wasn't so expensive in the US. I got a dupe so I wouldn't use it up. The dossier dupe doesn't have all the layers.
