Chew a clove of garlic, job done. Also if you do get bitten rub a freshly peeled clove on it to take away the itching😉✌Keep this in mind if you get caught out and can't find a Pharmacia.

I took the nuclear option and got a stand-up bug zapper. Problem is, they're loud. Mine went off last night at around 3 am, nearly gave me a heart attack!

You'll need more euros than before, the prices have gone up since last year,especially alcohol. The mozzies are already out in force, July and August could be a nightmare.

What are the worst months for the mozzys?
This time of year onwards. Worse a week or so after any rain as that’s when they breed in the millions as well. Days like today when there’s a strong wind help as they can’t fly!

Looks like you invested in some software editing tool and can add people to the video, so won't look like your alone on your Travels anymore.
Before people head to Spain they should take antihistamine tablets (80p in Home bargains) at least a week before Travel and take daily when in Spain as you will never avoid the moZZie bites on Holiday, but at least the reaction will be more manageable, also spray every 3-4hrs when out...and then you can relax and enjoy the holidays ...
“Alone on my travels” Karen does have a full time job as well as trying to fit in UA-cam when we have time on her days off. It’s not always easy 😊

yes, here in New Brunswick Canada we have lots of forest and mosquitos, and that's what we use. (We have racket bug zapper too) By the way I am enjoying and learning a lot about Spain that I don't see on the regular travel videos. The construction going on is surprising. Great job on the videos and walk arounds. Have a nice day!
