  • Introducing the Burris Eliminator 6 Riflescope
    Train far, hunt responsibly, don't miss.
    Burris changed the rifle optics industry forever in 2006 when it introduced the company's first laser rangefinding riflescope. Since then, the company has worked to refine this all-in-one technology to give hunters a clear advantage in obtaining fast and accurate aiming solutions. With five generations of the popular Eliminator rangefinding riflescope under its belt, Burris takes the biggest leap yet with the release of the all-new, completely redesigned Eliminator 6.
    Using the Eliminator 6, simply range your target, hold the illuminated aiming point on your target, and hold wind if necessary. Pull the trigger, and the Eliminator 6 eliminates the guesswork, allowing the shooter to focus on proper technique, ensuring more precision and ethical hunting.
    Hunters who are familiar with the legacy Eliminator series will instantly recognize the Eliminator 6 as "something different," and they would be correct.
    The foundation of the Eliminator 6 is a more contemporary riflescope chassis with a modern profile featuring objective and ocular bells aesthetically balanced around a robust 34mm tube. Function and form meld with an aggressively knurled cap and adjustment knob design that delivers no-slip operation even when wearing gloves. The parallax and illumination adjustments are now conveniently located on a conventional turret-style knob that also contains the range activation and brightness button array.
    At first glance, this revolution appears to be just another riflescope, but it is what's inside that has had discerning sportsmen reaching for the Eliminator series riflescopes for nearly 20 years, and the Eliminator 6 continues that tradition with the most comprehensive and advanced integrated technology ever delivered in a hunting riflescope:
    • Integrated rangefinder capable of ranging out to 2,000 yards
    • BurrisConnect compatible for quick programing and precise ballistics
    • 4-20 Magnification
    • X177 Reticle with 177 1/5 MOA illuminated aiming points
    • HUD with 11 data zones
    • Shotcall Marker
    While the digital technology and capabilities of the Eliminator 6 sets the new standard in the hunting riflescope segment, optical performance is equally impressive. To maximize optical clarity and minimize chromatic aberrations, Burris engineers selected extra-low
    dispersion (ED) glass for the Eliminator 6. The ED glass combined with fully multi-coated lenses deliver a remarkably crisp optical view with superb low-light transmission so you can easily see your target in early morning and late evening light and the foulest of weather conditions. Other optical features include a new 5X system with 4-20X magnification, a +2.0 to -3.0 diopter adjustment range, and side focus/parallax adjustment from 25 yards to infinity.
    The new Eliminator 6 from Burris Optics represents the next generation in hunting riflescopes. Built to the needs and demanding standards of the elite hunter and forward leaning in its design and technological integration, the sixth-generation Eliminator riflescope's intent is to deliver all the performance and features modern hunters expect in a quality field optic...and more.

    Looking forward in it coming in MILS. Nearly every shooter from the military to the basic hunter now uses MILS these days. Having an MOA limits those who will purchase it.

    Absolutely an amazing suite of important sensors. This is a civilian version of the Army's new M157 sight system only in a much more compact design. It's a bit pricey at $2,400. but worth it. I guess I'll be getting this for my 6.5 PRC Browning X-Bolt Pro for next hunting season.

    Hi. I am thinking of getting the Eliminator 6. My concern and question; must you hold your finger on the bottom to keep the point of aim, or does the scope hold the point of aim for a few seconds, to allow you to use the left hand to support the back rest of the rifle. Or are you forced to keep the left hand on the scope (button) and only have your right hand to support the rifle and pull the trigger. Especially in a situation where an animal is constantly moving and you only have a split second to shoot between the movements.
    Thank you.

    • @BurrisOpticsCompany

      The scope comes with a wireless Bluetooth remote. You can position it where ever is most comfortable for you to stabilize your shot.

  • @jacquesbotes8668
    @jacquesbotes8668 7 місяців тому

    I have a significant question. Firstly, I want to say that the technology in the scope is excellent and there's nothing wrong with it. However, I'm curious about the reticle size. Has it remained large, or has there been a modification to make the reticle finer?

    • @BurrisOpticsCompany
      @BurrisOpticsCompany  6 місяців тому +1

      The reticle is slightly finer. The hold over dots in previous models were 1/3 MOA this version is 1/5 MOA.

    For night shooting I currently attach a Pard NV007s to the back of my Leupold scope. If I attached my Pard to the back of Eliminator 6 would it work and would the range finder and ballistic calculator work?

    • @BurrisOpticsCompany
      @BurrisOpticsCompany  Місяць тому

      Looking at the functionality of the Pard NV007, I feel it would work. However, this is not something we have tested. But, since it does not mount to the objective lens it will not interfere with the range finder.

    How does it know your wind hold? Do you have to manually enter it or connect it to a kestrel or something?

    • @BurrisOpticsCompany
      @BurrisOpticsCompany  3 місяці тому

      You have upload a wind value to the scope. You can request current wind values in your area using the Burris Connect app, or use your Kestrel device to manually input this data in the app to upload to the scope.
