Great to see Yonkers again. I remember watching your first one. It seems like ages ago. I've never been up to Yonkers, but like you, I'm really into the history, architecture and vibes of NY's neighborhoods. My area of knowledge is Queens and parts of Brooklyn, but through this series and your walk & talks I feel like I kind of know Yonkers pretty well. Thanks again for all your work, which I consider to be historic
Manny. You're a top notch investigator especially about the son of Sam killings. I SEEN all your videos about son of sam. I was 18-19 years old when this all happened which was one of the terrible moments in the history of NYC. I was afraid of dating girls back then and my parents had forbidden me to go dancing back then. Awesome video of his residence in Yonkers.
Great drone footage. Really appreciate it especially the view from his apartment. Would never have seen it otherwise. You're right, he had a great view from that apartment.
It was going to be 44 Pine St but they had to fight the USPS. Would be foolish to go through the trouble of renumbering only to use 44 which was his serial killer name. Great video Manny. Your work is appreciated.
Very interesting and illuminating video. Just arrived back from NYC today, memorable trips as usual... waited and waited in the airport @ YYZ till l managed to get to LGA
What ever happened to Disco Dave's car after it was all said, and done? Was it sold at an Auction? Crushed? Is it still in police evidence? Impounded still?
@@mannygrossmanjust curious, haven't heard no mention about it much, other than when they arrested him, and showed a few pictures. Wasn't sure if someone bought it years ago, or it got scrapped, or something.
Cool. I have no idea whatever happened to the car, I can say with almost 100% certainty that it never got out of NYPD custody. It was a crime scene after all. It's an interesting question and it's gotta be somewhere unless it was scrapped. @@jamesnunya7368
Awesome, Manny. The horrible killing of the dogs by God knows whom and Berkowitz’ antagonism towards dogs at the same time is just a really weird coincidence. It’s one that understandably has led to much confusion over the years.
It was a weird confluence of a lot of strange shit occurring at the same time in a small geographical area. Berkie's time in Yonkers happened to coincide with a bunch of jerks killing dogs in Untermyer park and the Aqueduct. Two totally separate sociological phenomena conflated by the drunk Maury Terry. I do not think Berkie was behind the Aqueduct dog killings. Mrs. Neto in her testimony said she heard dogs screaming and being killed a few times just south of her on the aqueduct. I can't explain it all and in the old days Maury had me thinking Berkie was in the middle of all this. But now we see he was incapable of forming any type of close relationship with others at that time and that he was wigging out all alone in his apartment railing aginst the "Wicker Street Gang" that existed only in his head.
Great tour, Manny. It dawned on me as you were speaking, the military trains people to kill innocent people. Berkowitz just couldn't cope when he got out, not unusual, and I'm certainly not condoning his actions, which I find beyond senseless, but it's more understandable. I feel he was unstable before the military and it was exemplified after. 💜
Coffey tracked the "Son of Sam" serial killer's movements and was the first to interview David Berkowitz after his arrest. Susan said Coffey pitied Berkowitz. "He said that the guy was just crazy and that he did it alone -- it wasn't a clan of people doing it, it wasn't the dog who made him do it,"
Great question. For some reason, I don’t see David listening and enjoying music because that is such a humane thing. I wonder what music he would have listened to? For some reason, I could see older music, maybe the great crooners (Nat King Cole, Dino, Frank, etc.), but nothing trendy and popular in the 1970s.
I was curious about this myself. In one of the photos where we see the record rack in the corner, the first album we see on the right side is clearly Steppenwolf "For Ladies Only." That's the cover with the big S, and one of their more well-known albums.
Manny Have you considered the difference in the grill may be because the car was a mid-year model? I did not know the makers ever changed models mid-year until I had to go three times to get the correct window guards for my 2005 & 1/2 model Malibu.
Manny, STELLAR work! All of it! I fell for the MT fiction, until you set me straight. You should go to work on our Government! Lol! Any chance of scoring an on camera with Wheat Carr?
Thanks Greg. I appreciate that nice comment. Maury was trash and I'm glad we exposed that fraud for what and who he is. Regarding Wheat, not gonna happen. We DM often but she flatly refuses to ever come on a show.

Much appreciated!
Yonkers is very important to me. My first love was from Yonkers & I bought the best car I ever had in Yonkers. I never lived there, though.
Great video Manny! As one of the “old schools heads” I appreciate how your video series matured! Yonkers no longer looks so forbidding!
Thank you!

Great presentation - this just popped up in our feed. We're subscribed now. What he did was horrible. And now he has a website.
Thank you!
Fantastic footage Manny . . takes me right back to when I first started watching your videos.
Thanks Chris! I was going for an old skool vibe on this one.

Great footage Manny. Cool you're going to visit the other places Berkowitz lived. Will be interesting to see them close up.

No clue. For all I know it burned up in the massive fire last year at the NYPD evidence storage facility. Why do you ask?

No one knows.
I watched the guy who wrote the book chaos on rumble, he says bergliosos book was bs. Reminded me of the thoughts about the terry book. Keep going.

Manny...I'm still curious what phono records David had in his apartment. You see them in the crime photos
You can easily find out by doing some research into the Queens DA data dump as I suggest all SOS researchers do.
