Not at all; you can request them if you'd like to work them, but enough people want to stay home at the weekends as much as possible that they don't tend to be fought over at all! :-) xx
I read on Google midwifery is free for a postgraduate degree which is all you need to become one. You get a bursary aswell which differs from £1000 - 5000 I'm so confused. Could you answer if these are true?, 😅
At least in the U.K., you definitely need a full undergraduate degree, unless you already have a nursing degree, in which case you can do an 18 month shorter course, but you wouldn’t be able to become a midwife from just a postgraduate course. Funding wise, they have pulled the NHS training bursary but you can get contributions and student loans - it has changed a lot since I did it so I’m not sure what exactly is in place now - you’d need to search online for that information. Most extra *_* it would be a 3 year degree course for an undergraduate degree in Midwifery. I actually have a video coming out on this on Thursday so I’d suggest watching that for all the information 😊 X
Aaliyah Hussain yeah, unfortunately we do. We get a reduced rate, which varies from each hospital but where I work it works out about £35 a month for 37.5 hours a week parked at work. X

Hi, Not able to share which hospital I work at for confidentiality reasons but the 3 shifts thing I would say is pretty standard across different hospitals. Hope that helps xx

After a 12 hour shift you will be off at least 11 hours so could be on the next night.
