Buckminster airfield, I taught my son the basics of driving there many years ago. Great display of a beautiful model aeroplane, you should be very proud.
Nice looking huge model and amazingly smooth landing, especially considering the blustery crosswind the pilot was flying in. Speaking of wind, I've always followed one simple rule which continues to serve me well: NEVER fly an RC model or drone in winds I wouldn't dare fly a real airplane in. Cheers from Thailand!
Never turn into a dead engine. Keep air speed with increasing other engines and avoid over banking turns. I got to fly on 909 with B - 24 Witchcraft off our wing. Took off right behind pilot’s seat then had access to every part but ball turret and tail gun. Tail wheel blocking rear fuselage access. Unlike B- 24 with no restrictions other than ball turret which is very confining anyway.
Thank you! I do try to give a mixture of videos.. pretty much all of my journey in the hobby.. from my own projects to what i see when attending events and shows etc 😊
Très très beau B 17 TRES LIMITE EN PUISSANCE....!! ATTENTION A UNE COUPURE D' UN OU DEUX MOTEURS AU DÉCOLLAGE.....!! AIE AIE AIE.... TRES REALISTE BEAU BOULOT 👍👍👍🍾🍾
Way too windy for flight to compromise that excellent build. I've always made it a rule to never fly with over (5mph) winds. It's paid off tremendously. Outstanding landing. And thanks for posting without music. Don't crash it guys. That sucker is so cool.
Why no scale 3 blade props? Always such an embarassment for a mighty ww2 warbird with a big 3 or 4 blade prop to fly in RC with a puney piper cub prop. I know they make big 3 blade RC props....
Felicitaciones.
Awsome .Nice job .Perfect landing .
Beautiful plane, very impressive landing in that wind.
Nicely done, mate! That landing was smooth as butter.
Wow just an awesome looking B-17 nice flying in the crosswind too just beautiful job! 👍

Thanks.
Brilliant flying when you consider that cross wind. Excellent skills. Great model too.
Incredible job flying in that wind! If I was on board I would have tossed my lunch. Also one awesome looking plane and awesome flying skills.
Excellent flying in that wind. Landi g was butter
Beautiful model and flight!
Beautiful tribute to the never forgotten 909
Even with that crazy cross wind, that was a great landing. Well done.
Apart from the engine noise, the perspective as it climbed out made it look like a real B.17 somewhat in the further distance. Well done.
Thanks for posting mate. It was a challenging flight with the cross wind.
It was! Fair play to you for going for it regardless haha!
Is that one of the models built by LMA folks using the fus/nacelle moulds from the Memphis Belle movie?
@@btbplanevidsyes it is made made from the Richard Rawle moulds.
B-17, some very nice scale speed flying, our friends over the pond don't understand that concept, all about speed and size 👍.
Very nice !
One heck of a crosswind!
How awesome is this !!!
Super, very, extremely awesome! 👏
11/10
@@raymondo162 It only goes up to 10/10, otherwise it’s infinite and meaningless.

Thank you. It’s always windy when I want to go fly so we get used to it.
How remarkable!!! WOW!!
Thanks.
That’s some crosswind Steve, brave lad and well done. Will we see you at Woodsprings this year? Hope so
Thanks mate, I’ll be at woodspring.

Liked and subbed. Unlike Pete's channel which I follow, you have a mix of construction and tips besides just flying. USA

Respect for such an awesome project and also using gas engines not electric..2 3 or4 prop doesn’t matter as long as it’s not electric…

Are you deaf ??
Unfortunately in the UK, if you wait for 5mph winds, we would never fly! 😂
Thank you.
Sometimes making a "model " so big it almost stops being a model and starts becoming a real tiny airplane.
Yikes! That crosswind was too much for me!
😊😊😊😊😊
It's a shame you couldn't do something with that mic problem. A wind sock might help...
Now all you need is a P-63 for an rc video that gets views.
That is never a 21-foot span B17. If it was the fin would stand taller than the bloke that walked it out 😂
seriously IRRITATING background moozak. YOYOY ??

Is that what you have on your 21 foot B17? Didn’t think so.
