The Battle for the Best Hair Treatment! Comparing two of my favorite leave-in sprays

As I mentioned in a previous post, I’ve been using Redken’s One United Multi-Benefit Treatment Spray for a while. I use it when I get out of the shower, as a heat protectant before I style my hair, and as a detangler for brushing through not only my tresses but my girls’ hair as well. This spray has 25 different uses, so it’s very versatile.
However, I always see people rave about the It's A 10 Miracle Leave-In Plus Keratin, especially in mom groups. Little girls get super tangly hair, and I think any girl mom can attest to that. So, I decided to try out both sprays, find the differences between the two, and talk about which one I recommend for different hair care needs.
I tried It’s a 10's Leave-In for about a month on my hair and my girls’ hair. I love using it after a shower.
This spray is a bit thicker than Redken’s One United Spray, more like a traditional leave-in conditioner, so I like to use it on damp hair to inject extra moisture, extra frizz control, and help with post-shower brushing.
I do find this formula works a bit better on my girls’ hair, which is a little shorter, thinner, and tangly than my own, but I do like using it post-shower to condition and hydrate all of our hair.
On dry hair, however, I prefer using Redken’s One United Spray before brushing or styling. I spray it on my girls’ hair as they’re getting ready for school to help detangle their locks, style them if they want, and prevent their hair from becoming ratty or tangled throughout the day. It’s a thinner, more traditional mist-like spray that doesn’t soak in like the It’s a 10 formula.
Overall, I like both of these products but for different reasons and purposes. The It's A 10 Miracle Leave-In Plus Keratin is perfect for post-shower tresses, soaking into the strands overnight to provide long-term moisture and control. Redken’s One United Multi-Benefit Treatment Spray, on the other hand, ) is my go-to for detangling dry locks and protecting them from heat styling damage.
