Hey Jake, nice to see you on here again. I love the Corrado! I saw my first on back in 1994 in Germany while driving my MK1 GTI. It blew past me like I was standing still... There is nothing like driving GTIs on the roads in Europe. I drove mine there for almost 3 years and put well over 100k kms on it. I literally drove that thing everywhere. I really love watching your videos. You are showing me all the things that I want to do with my cars. Thanks for the vids and have a great summer. BTW you look really good with shorter hair.
Love it! Built dozens of 1.8Ts for customers, and myself. Rig up a ‘pressure tester’ to shove in the air inlet. Inflate the intake tract to about 20 psi and find the leaks
Yes I need to do it again. When I got done with the build last year I did but only to 18 psi. Need to go more but scary, feels like something will break lol
@@JakeRawSon Nah, just don’t stand in front of whatever you shove in the air inlet to test it.. I’ve had that fcker shoot out like a shotgun, just as loud too! 😂 You won’t hurt anything on the engine, they handle it from the turbo. It is a bit unnerving though
Thx for sharing! Awesome fun and great pov bro. I had a blast watching this video. Not so many of us really drive our car hard and have fun on the canyon rd. Woot woot
I miss the junkyard and garage videos

@@jeffkoch8612 ok ya man, when you start hearing stuff it's like.. what's going to fly off lol
Man is living the dream, carving corners with the corrado.
I have a 1.8T in my Corrado with an F21 but no differential in it yet. Can’t wait to do it this winter. 🤩
O man I couldn't even use all that power lol
Great to see you back at it! Someday I need to ride in that car!
And this is why Im 1.8t swapping my mk2 Jetta. Awesome videos 🤙🏻🔥

Glad you're back, was hoping to meet you at spring meet...
I'll be in Leavenworth
awesome vide Jake they've got some awesome roads out there in the PNW car looks so fun!
Awesome, nice to see you enjoying it.. nothing like a good diff on these dubs, pulls you straight outa the corners.. ✌️..
I have been waiting on this video haha. watched the 1.8t mk2 canyon many times
I had the same issue adjusting the dieselgeek shifter in my Corrado Jake. I hate you had that issue, but glad it wasn’t just me 😂
Yes it's so frustrating. I love the short throw with it but the feeling of shifting fast and slamming it in is what I'm about lol
Great video, love the shirt! :)
There is only one Rrado, no MKIIs :) Now take out that MKII Golf out for a ride! :D
Very nice Corrado 💪💪
Man I miss your videos! Hood to see you!!😅
Welcome back! Cool car :)
Looks so fun ❤
Nice video. Are you doing the Leavenworth drive June 17, 2023?

@JakeRawSon very fun little car lol pulls hard eats tires I will try to send you some pictures of it and the build
Thanks for the reply
Out of all of your cars. Which one do enjoy driving the most? My fav is still your red GTI.
It's hard because they're all so different. I just sat here for a good 5min and I can't pick. I might do a vid this summer with them all and explain.
@@JakeRawSon
Are you going build that MK1 track/Rally car?
@@cyrilvillarosa2421 Yes. It's a long term project. I have big plans for it.
Jake, I'm looking for a swapped MK1 Rabbit. Let me know if anyone has one for sale.
🙂✌
