Gaslighting is I would classify as the worst form of abuse one can possibly imagine. You end up being completely riddled with self doubt, los of self confidence and you just doubt your own sanity, as well as intelligence, memory and overall ability. An utterly terrible way to live. No life at all whatsoever.
People who gaslight are extremely clever because they know EXACTLY how to get into your head, which is what makes them so good at controlling and manipulating the individual they’re with.
Absolute cudose to the Archers for shining a light on this topic. I really loved listening to this storyline, even though it was rather difficult to listen to at times.
