Addictions are a sickness. Some don't want to indulge in their addiction, but their mind tells them they have to. Same with simple things like sugar. Try not eating sugar for a week and see how your body responds. Have some grace, people!

I thought the same thing, this is an area of mental health that they talk about all of the time, and addiction is a huge contributor to poor mental health across the world!
Let’s talk about this more often. I have tried and quit so many drugs except sugar. It’s weird how no one looks at sugar like a drug. Some drugs I easily quit and had little to no withdrawals but not sugar. I have never felt more irritable like I did when I took a sugar break.
The lean, the alcohol, the partying, it all caught up to Bow. You can see it all in his face
The thing with addictions to drugs is that people start out just doing it recreationally, then they do it to cope all while thinking they can handle and control its affects. Sometimes By the time they figure out that’s not the case, they’re in too deep. I don’t think being addicted is ever the end goal.

I'm really proud to see how many ppl in these comments are pointing out that addiction isn't funny and that there's some hypocrisy because it is a mental health issue. Addiction is a symptom of a large problem which drives you to escape. Ppl actually die from withdrawal depending on what they're using if it's not a controlled process. It literally rewires our brains. They definitely could've used this topic in a much better way.

Addiction is not always a logical decision, sometimes you try it or sometimes what you are taking is laced and don’t realize how deep you’re in… let’s not oversimplify this issue

When we found out my cousin was on crack that was the question we asked " what made her wake up one day and want to try crack." She passed away from overdose.
I recently saw interviews of homeless ppl.. and a girl was on crack who was in her 20’s. I forget that Gen Z missed all the 80’s-90’s movies showing the affects of crack or what it is. Theyre brand new to it. Also they gave it a new nickname.
